  1. Ask most people what genre of dance music they’d associate most with summer and few would likely suggest breaks as the soundtrack to hot nights, beery afternoons and impromptu barbeques. Some people, however, are out to change those preconceptions. Mark Yardley’s Stanton Warriors project is arguably the best explanation for breakbeat’s consistent presence at festivals, clubs and concerts today. Incorporating vocals from across the board into a notoriously instrumental-dominated genre, Stanton Warriors have collaborated with luminaries including Twista, The Beatnuts and the UK’s finest, Sway. Mark Yardley then, is clearly a man who knows how to blend killer vocals with a killer beat, and so it is on his lovingly crafted re-rub of Jose Gonzalez’ finest hour, ‘Crosses’. Taking the lush guitar strumming and underpinning it with a punchy, live-sounding breakbeat allows the track to step seamlessly onto the dancefloor, without losing the delicate feel of Gonzalez’s original. The addition of a smooth, summery bassline and synths that would make Prince blush adds weight to an already heady cocktail, before the full chorus is unleashed in all its glory. Hands will be raised, shirts will be removed, water will be shared… this record is what summer’s all about really. Already receiving heavy rotation from Krafty Kuts, Deekline, and of course, Stanton Warriors, this remix is undoubtedly going to be the soundtrack of the festival summer… Don’t sleep! 4. Actually the latest updates detail on the facts that Russians moved large stocks of weapons of mass destruction out of Baghdad and Iraq in the fall of 2002. We've all heard what General Sada, the Iraqi defector said. He said that they went into three locations in Syria and one location in the Bekaa Valley. The fingerprints go back to Russia, China and France. Now... "Those are the three countries that had the most conventional weapon sales to Saddam Hussein. We've done an inventory on that, so that's public, and I believe they were complicit, so I don't think the administration wants to trash three of the five members of this Security Council." Let me translate. Those weapons were there and they were moved out by the Russians and by the French, by the Chinese, primarily the Russians providing most of the actual manpower and equipment to do it. They were moved to Syria, Bekaa Valley and three other locations. China and France and Russia -- we all know this from the oil-for-food program, by the way -- were all engaged in selling large stockpiles of conventional weapons to Saddam and in some cases some people think maybe weapons that could be converted to the so-called biological or chemical weapons of mass destruction. I just don't think this administration is going to force the issue because he doesn't want to accuse three of our allies on the Security Council of being complicit here. So, folks, that's why it's going to require alternative voices to keep the pressure on, keep the heat on, and it can be done. Believe me, there are people livid about this, and the fact that it's being ignored and swept under the rug is only going to fuel the energy of those of us who want to spend time getting the information out. So....we either point fingers and play the "we busted you game" or profetionally confront Russia, China and France (behind closed doors) pressuring them to now be a bigger part on this war on terror.
  5. So what if it took long to release. I'm sure the admin has it's reasons. They are still not releasing the full details for investigative reasons. So what if they are degraded? Pre war the word "degraded" was not even mentioned. Saddam swore to the U.N and the World that he had zero, zippo, nada, none of them. Sell your "degraded" crap to someone else. Hide anything under soil long enough and it will get "degraded." Find something else to sell that story to. Find someone else to cry to. Cry me a river! You guys are soooo predictable. Never happy. Always crying.
  6. Can't wait to hear how the left will downplay this. Here are my guess: 1- The United Stated plated them there. 2- Why did it take so long to find them. 3- FOX is reporting it first so it isn't true Since day one the left has been crying "What weapons?" "Where are the WMD's?" and now that 500 have been found we now hear them commenting "those are irrelevant". Some people will never be happy. http://cepan.redstate.com/story/2006/6/21/211948/824 Report: Hundreds of WMDs Found in Iraq Thursday, June 22, 2006 Wednesday, June 21, 2006 Weapons Of Mass Destruction FOUND In Iraq, But Democrats Say "Let's Cut And Run And Surrender!" Today it was learned in a press conference by U.S. Senator Rick Santorum and U.S. House member Pete Hoekstra that the U.S. Military has found WMD's in Iraq. These two members of Congress have been fighting for months to get these documents declassified. The partially declassified documents show that 500 shells containing Sarin and Mustard gas were found in Iraq. The declassified document is here http://hotair.iad.cachefly.net/images/2006-05/iraq-doc.pdf This is a huge story, yet the libs are already saying it does not change anything since there were "only 500" and that the stuff was probably too old to be dangerous to anyone. They should be apologizing to President Bush, but never will. This news becomes public on the very day John Kerry tries to get the U.S. Senate to vote for a total pullout of Iraq in less than a year. On a day we learn that the Islamofacist animals who want us all dead have cut out the eyes, the private parts and the HEADS of our two brave soldiers, those on the left are STILL calling for a pullout. The liberals would have Iraq become yet another Vietnam, Cambodia and Somolia where we pull out and leave the population to terror and mass murder. It will take another terrorist attack here in The U.S. before the loony left sees the insanity they are spouting over and over again about Iraq and the War On Terror. My email is already filling up with angry rants from liberal bloggers who HATE President Bush and the military. They are accusing us on the right of planning this and making this all up. The reality is they are making up the dream of taking over the House And Senate in November. I will predict now that they have destroyed that pipedream with their Iraq "policy" of treason and pullout. I will say now that they will not only NOT win the House and Senate, they will lose seats they think are safe. In Matworld the U.S. people know who the real patriots and heroes are in the country and it is not the liberals. We support the war because this is the battle for freedom around the world. We start to make plans to go after Iran and North Korea so we are ready when, not if, the United Nations fails to make them concede to the will of the free nations. We ignore the John Murtha's and the Kerry's of the world who want us to LOSE this war for political gain. This is World War IV, not a game. It's time the Democrats realized that and help out, but I won't hold my breath. The Democrat party is dead in the water and they have no clue what serious trouble they are in. Time to push them over the cliff this November. http://hotair.com/archives/the-blog/2006/06/21/santorum-military-has-found-500-chemical-munitions-shells-in-iraq/ Santorum: Military has found 500 chemical munitions shells in Iraq (Video added)posted at 5:45 pm on June 21, 2006 by Allahpundit He’s reading from a document about it right now with Pete Hoekstra by his side. The shells allegedly contained degraded mustard or sarin gas. He says they believe there are other shells inside the country that haven’t been found yet. WMD is WMD, but finding a shell here and there when Iran’s about to get the bomb next door leaves me somewhat … underwhelmed. Update: Actually, is that true? “WMD is WMD”? The knock on Ron Suskind’s “mubtakkar of death” is that, as scary as it sounds, it wouldn’t kill any more people inside a subway car than a conventional bomb would. Or a small-arms attack, possibly. Are chemical shells any scarier than, say, grenades? They have a lot more political value, obviously. Update: And when I say political value, I don’t mean just for Bush. Santorum’s re-election bid is on life support, and of course there’s a debate raging on the Senate floor about the war right now. I’ve been meaning to write about it but don’t have much to say except that it’s entertaining to watch Democrats trying to figure out how defeatist is too defeatist for purposes of getting re-elected.
  7. She's not saying anything any more offensive than what has been said about Bush, his admin and other conservs by today's modern liberals. Lib dish it out, then play the victim when their tactics are emulated and aimed right back @ them? How odd? LOL SUCK IT UP, BITCHEZZZZZZ!!!! Go cry me a river!

  9. http://apnews.myway.com/article/20060615/D8I8JAC80.html Jun 15, 6:22 AM (ET) By KIM GAMEL BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - Iraq's national security adviser said Thursday a "huge treasure" of documents and computer records was seized after the raid on terror leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi's hideout, giving the Iraqi government the upper hand in its fight against al-Qaida in Iraq. National Security Adviser Mouwafak al-Rubaie also said he believed the security situation in the country would improve enough to allow a large number of U.S.-led forces to leave Iraq by the end of this year, and a majority to depart by the end of next year. "And maybe the last soldier will leave Iraq by mid-2008," he said. Al-Rubaie said a laptop, flashdrive and other documents were found in the debris after the airstrike that killed the al-Qaida in Iraq leader last week outside Baqouba, and more information has been uncovered in raids of other insurgent hideouts since then. He called it a "huge treasure ... a huge amount of information." (AP) Iraqi National Security Adviser Mouwafak al-Rubaie holds up a copy of a document purported to have... Full Image When asked how he could be sure the information was authentic, al-Rubaie said "there is nothing more authentic than finding a thumbdrive in his pocket." "We believe that this is the beginning of the end of al-Qaida in Iraq," al-Rubaie said, adding that the documents showed al-Qaida is in "pretty bad shape," politically and in terms of training, weapons and media. "Now we have the upper hand," he said at a news conference in Baghdad. "We feel that we know their locations, the names of their leaders, their whereabouts, their movements, through the documents we found during the last few days." Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, meanwhile, pressed forward with his initiative to crack down on violence in Baghdad. Government forces fanned out across Baghdad for a second day, setting up checkpoints and frisking motorists. Al-Maliki has promised the crackdown would not target any ethnic or sectarian group. Full Image Gunmen killed an engineer and kidnapped another, and a detergent factory worker was shot to death as he was headed to work elsewhere in western Baghdad, police said, but no major violence was reported in the capital, a day after al-Maliki's major security operation was launched. Elsewhere, however, gunmen stormed a Sunni mosque near Tikrit, killing four people and wounding 15, including a fundamentalist Sunni cleric who has spoken out against the killing of Iraqis as part of the insurgency. In addition to announcing the security crackdown, al-Maliki opened the door Wednesday for talks with insurgents opposed to the country's political process as part of a national reconciliation initiative, but he said any negotiations would exclude terrorist groups. The plan could include a pardon for some prisoners. A senior White House official said the Iraqis have indicated that they are looking for "models" in national reconciliation. Another official said al-Maliki had inquired whether Bosnians or South Africans might be able to provide expertise. "There is also a space for dialogue with insurgents who opposed the political process and now want to join the political process after offering guarantees," al-Maliki said. "But on the other hand we are not going to negotiate with the criminals who have killed the innocent." Full Image A top al-Maliki adviser told The Washington Post the plan could include pardons for those who had attacked U.S. troops. Adnan Ali al-Kadhimi told the Post "there is a patriotic feeling among the Iraqi youth and the belief that those attacks are legitimate acts of resistance and defending their homeland. These people will be pardoned definitely, I believe." The security crackdown in Baghdad includes a curfew extended by 4 1/2 hours - from 8:30 p.m. until dawn - and a weapons ban. The government did not say how long the crackdown would last and declined to give precise numbers about checkpoints and troops. Operation Forward Together, involving 75,000 Iraqi army and police forces backed by U.S. troops, began Wednesday at a crucial time - one day after Bush visited Baghdad to reassure Iraqis of Washington's continued support and exactly a week after al-Zarqawi's death in a U.S. airstrike. During Bush's visit, Iraq's Sunni Vice President Tariq al-Hashimi asked him for a timeline for the withdrawal of foreign forces from Iraq, the president's office said. "I supported him in this," President Jalal Talabani said in a statement released Wednesday. Al-Hashimi's representatives could not immediately be reached for comment Thursday. Full Image Bush made it clear that a U.S. military presence - now at about 132,000 troops - would continue, although he stressed the fate of the Iraqis was in their own hands. Al-Hashimi also said there were "promises to free about 3,500 detainees" by June 26, the statement from Talabani's office said. That number that would be above the 2,500 to be freed as part of a bid by Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki to soothe Sunni Arabs over allegations of random detentions and maltreatment at the hands of the Shiite-led government. More than 450 detainees were being released Thursday as part of al-Maliki's national reconciliation efforts, according to the U.S. military. Many Baghdad residents were hopeful about al-Maliki's efforts, although some were clearly impatient as they waited for 15 minutes or more to get through the checkpoints. "The reconciliation plan should exclude those responsible for bloodshed of the Iraqi people," resident Abdul-Sada Ali told AP Television News. "It is a very good step by Mr. Nouri al-Maliki." The security operation was al-Maliki's first major action since his new government of national unity was sworn in on May 20, and a week after he gained the consensus he needed from Iraq's ethnic and sectarian groups to fill three key posts - defense, interior and national security. --- Associated Press writers Sameer N. Yacoub and Qais al-Bashir contributed to this report.
  10. God forbid we now help them get back on their feet and back into the World Markets. I also read that the Iraqi's also want to start contributing to the global disaster relief as a way of establishing a good reputation. You scratch the worlds back, the world will scratch yours. I have faith in the Iraqi's. Since day one.
  11. .....Of America? A YEAR IN AMERICA: 16,912 MURDERS; 92,837 RAPES http://www.breitbart.com/news/2006/06/12/D8I6MG9G1.html Violent Crime Up for 1st Time in 5 Years Jun 12 9:11 AM US/Eastern Email this story By MARK SHERMAN Associated Press Writer WASHINGTON Murders, robberies and aggravated assaults in the United States increased last year, spurring an overall rise in violent crime for the first time since 2001, according to FBI data. Murders rose 4.8 percent, meaning there were more than 16,900 victims in 2005. That would be the most since 1998 and the largest percentage increase in 15 years. Murders jumped from 272 to 334 in Houston, a 23 percent spike; from 330 to 377 in Philadelphia, a 14 percent rise; and from 131 to 144 in Las Vegas, a 10 percent increase. Despite the national numbers, Detroit, Los Angeles and New York were among several large cities that saw the number of murders drop. The overall increase in violent crime was modest, 2.5 percent, which equates to more than 1.4 million crimes. Nevertheless, that was the largest percentage increase since 1991. The FBI data, compiled from reports by more than 12,000 law enforcement agencies, does not contain overall crime numbers in any category nor does it offer any explanation for the changes. The FBI's final annual crime report comes out in the fall. Criminal justice experts said the statistics reflect the nation's complacency in fighting crime, a product of dramatic declines in the and the abandonment of effective programs that emphasized prevention, putting more police officers on the street and controlling the spread of guns. "We see that budgets for policing are being slashed and the federal government has gotten out of that business," said James Alan Fox, a criminal justice professor at Northeastern University in Boston. "Funding for prevention at the federal level and many localities are down and the (National Rifle Association) has renewed strength." Still, Fox said, "We're still far better off than we were during the double-digit crime inflation we saw in the 1970s." Robberies were up 4.5 percent and aggravated assaults 1.9 percent, according to preliminary data. Alone among violent crime categories, the number of rapes fell 1.9 percent. Violent crimes peaked at 1.9 million in 1992 and fell steadily through the end of that decade. The number has been relatively stable for the past six years. Crime last year increased in all regions, although the 5.7 percent rise in the Midwest was at least three times any other region's. These states make up the Midwest: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Fox cautioned against reading too much into year-to-year changes in individual cities, saying some differences result from random variation and marked swings the previous year. Also, some large statistical increases result from some small numerical changes. In Hartford, Conn. for example, murders jumped more than 50 percent, from 16 to 25.

  15. 18.05.2006 Pole Folder "RePROTECTED EP` [Proton Music] (USA) Back In 2004, Pole Folder's 'Protected' first debuted. Regarded by many as a 'piece de resistance' of his career, the single went on to become one for which he is most recognised. Backed by a range of remixes from Madoka, Fretwell, and Italy's M.A.S. Collective, it became a favourite of fans right across Europe and further afield. If anything, the only thing the package was missing was that "killer club mix". Now, two years later that is rectified as Opencloud and Mashtronic bring us their own dub interpretations. Mashtronic do not disappoint. Their 'reProtected' mix fuses together elements of trance, electro and progressive into a peak time interpretation that will shake any dance floor to it's very core. From the twisted bassline, through to the big hook that prevails throughout, climaxing in a twisted vocal breakdown, the production is flawless, with the overall mix being one of Mashtronic's biggest sounding to date, on a level that almost equals their big room version of John Digweed's 'Warung Beach'. Opencloud meanwhile, turn in a down and dirty low end version, with plenty of heavy bass and filtered grit washing over some of the original's atmospherics and melodies. The lead-in is dark and heavy, with the melody loop that rises through giving the mix a contemporary edge. The extended break works well, dropping into a spiraling finale. As usual, the Texan duo have come up with something totally off the wall that could easily fit into a breaks or house set. As an addition to this EP, we are also presented with '8', an experimental piece of music which gets it's name from the fact it was created entirely on 8-track. Compared to much of Pole Folder's main body of work, this stripped down ambient piece will surprise and enchant many of his fans, going further beyond the some of the ideas explored on 'Zero Gold'. If anything, it's underlying simplicity allows it's shimmering melodies and harmonies to truly excel, and hopefully Pole Folder will continue to expand upon some of the ideas presented here with future work. The 'Reprotected EP' is the final bookend for the track, as both mixes bring a different dynamic that was missing from the original package. Whilst the original will always be timeless, Mashtronic and Opencloud have paid homage in a respectful way that fans of both Pole Folder and the remixers themselves will hopefully appreciate.
  16. Not very smart IMO to post such info especially with our Country currently cracking down on false documentation and all. Like Funk mentioned......after 9-11 this kind of stuff is not to be messed with. Good luck!

Full Image BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the al-Qaida leader in Iraq who waged a bloody campaign of suicide bombings and beheadings of hostages, has been killed in a precision airstrike, U.S. and Iraqi officials said Thursday. It was a long-sought victory in the war in Iraq. Al-Zarqawi and seven aides were killed Wednesday evening in a remote area 30 miles northeast of Baghdad in the volatile province of Diyala, just east of the provincial capital of Baqouba, Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said. Al-Qaida in Iraq confirmed al-Zarqawi's death and vowed to continue its "holy war," according to a statement posted on a Web site. "We want to give you the joyous news of the martyrdom of the mujahed sheik Abu Musab al-Zarqawi," said the statement, signed by "Abu Abdel-Rahman al-Iraqi," identified as the deputy "emir" or leader of al-Qaida in Iraq. "The death of our leaders is life for us. It will only increase our persistence in continuing holy war so that the word of God will be supreme." Video from the scene of the attack showed children scrambling over a flattened jumble of cinderblocks, concrete reinforcing bars, blankets and other debris. A pickup truck nearby was scorched and crushed.
