Obviously, you did not read my comments. You seem to have missed the line “Yea, his personal attacks cross the line, but that is just immaturity.” I don’t enjoy his personal attacks. He does speak his mind when he feels a DJ is not up to the highest standards. So what if he calls them filler! Also, when he complains about a bartender, asshole French doorman, or whatever, he backs it up with what happened. I know the French door guy that he blasted a few weeks ago. That guy is a jerk and I laughed my ass off when Saleen wrote about it. I’ve have no problem with someone reviewing and sharing his or her experiences on boards. I have no problem with people putting a guy (or guyman) in line when they have gone too far. However, it seems to me that some of you take this guy’s comments too personally. If he does not like the type of music you spin SO WHAT! I’ll bet there was a roomful of people who had a wonderful time. A few weeks ago he slammed Level. Ya know what, when one room’s music is not working for me I find another spot inside Level w/ different music. I like Level and he can say it sucks from here to eternity. It won’t have an impact on where I go. If his comments bother you so much, maybe you should be playing CD’s at Weddings. Controversy is not bad. There is a famous statue. It has 4 Rabbi’s sitting at a table studying. Each has a different expression. The first is IDEA, the second is DISAGREE, third is ARGUEE, and the 4th is COMPROMISE. The statue’s point is that all 4 elements are necessary to acquire knowledge. You guys might not like the manner in which Saleen makes his points (he can do it with a bit less venom), but it is passionate people who stand behind their ideas and beliefs that make MIAMI such a special and unique place. --- Old Man Guyman

I’m a big “reader”, not a “poster”. Saleen is entertaining. You can separate his bullshit easily without even knowing him. Yea, his personal attacks cross the line, but that is just immaturity. His reviews are really well written and he backs himself up with hard reasons. I get the feeling he is really not a BAD guy, he just likes to push it to the limit. The only reason I mention “Dan” is because some Miami fans I meet seem to obsess on Jay (NOTE: to the asshole in sec 440, row 9 seats 5 & 6, if I hear you bad mouth Jay again this year I’ll shut your trap like I did last year). They seem to think if you are not Bob Griese or Dan Marino, you are a suck-ass like David Woodley. I like Jay and have to root for a guy from NY! Hell, I grew up in NY and have been a diehard Fins fan since age 5. And, one more thing…. HOWARD DAVID SUCKS ASS! He is the worst sports on-air personality I have ever heard. He is boring, uninteresting and a complete failure as a morning host. He asks his guests questions and then answers them himself (incorrectly). He loves the sound of his own voice. His play-by-play is OK, but nothing special.

Sage is not ready (just yet). In a league with over 30 teams, it is a struggle to come up with 10 quaterbacks that you would rather have over Jay. Jay will never fill Dan's shoes... but he is not "that bad".... it could be worse... we could have Vinney.

It is irrelevant whether you agree w/ Saleen or not. He has the courage to speak his mind, take a stand and back it up with facts. Even if your opinion differs, you have to respect his efforts and abilities. His reviews are some of the best I’ve ever had the pleasure to read. In fact, I read reviews for my job and I look forward to reading his stuff for just sheer pleasure. Thanks Saleen.

There is nothing better than seeing obnoxious JETS fans, sitting quietly in the stands as their beloved Green & White got their @$$ beat. I love the excuses, “points on turnovers” ect… Save it for someone who cares. The Jets fans were loud in the parking lot before the game, but I saw many leave and go home with their Jerseys off to avoid the heckling. JETS FANS (much like their overpaid team) HAVE NOT GUTS! With all the free-agent talent the Jets picked up, a loss like this (second in a row), to divisional rivals has to be cause for major concern. A NEW ERA IN DOLPINS FOOTBALL BEGINS THIS SEASON. The Jets will now be OUR bitches.

COME ON NOW! Give Jay a chance! He was hurt towards the end of last season. When he is healthy, he plays well. He just recovered from surgery. And, the new QB we picked up from Wash., needs time to grow. Hey, DOLPHINS WILL WIN BOTH GAMES AGAINST THE JEST THIS YEAR!!!!!!

At the very beginning when you feel cold/flu symptoms, run to the store (Eckerd’s, ect..) and get COLD EZZZ lozenges. It has Zinc, which is helpful in minimizing the cold. Also, when traveling by plane, take extra Vitamin C and E (the real stuff) right before you board the plane. I travel at least 3x per month. This works!

Friday night was GREAT @ Spin. The music and crowd were fun and friendly. My babysitter (yes I'm that old) is a hottie who is just about to turn 18. She was at Space Friday. She said that on Friday night, Space is the 18+ female spot 2-B.

This is just a quick note to tell you all how fantastic this message board is. My wife and I are out at least once a month and are tired of Rolling around Fort Lauderdale. We tried (hit or miss) some of the SoBe/Miami clubs and never really got it right. I’ve sent PM’s to a few of you and you all have been extremely helpful.
