WOW I dont believe MAZE actually tried to get Cocoon (Richie Hawtin, SVen Vath) booked at there club. I flew up to chiocago just to see this. The vibe was unreal. Music and programming was on track the whole night. Now I know everybody loves to hear progressive week after week after week. But maybe MAZE should try something like this. Something different musically. And not just on a small level. But a big timer that spins more of an original sound but still has a big name that will draw a crowd example: -Richie Hawtin -Derrick Carter -Carl Cox -Marco Carola -Green Velvet -Misstress Barbara -Adam Beyer -Mark Farina -Derick May

Flew up to chicago this past weekend to see these guys @ crobar. It was amazing. Techno at its finest. Sven started w/ some electro but quickly progressed it to dark wicked techno. Richie was Richie: evil, dark, and slammin. No final scrath either..... very happy to see him play records. All in all chicago shows me a great time, real vibe, and good music. Maybe Picotto will play a level of techno like this and won't get to cluby and trancey. Hope miami continues to book techno djs every once in a while like they have been doing. BTW..... thanks to all that help the miami techno scene....it will pay off.

OMG.......Christian was bangin all night. Played some great tracks, mixing was flawless. Nigel played some stuff I never heard him play, perfect way to start the night................. Props to everyone who contributed to this party...........very fun night ............... see ya on tha 7th

Lastnight at Greed was off the hook. Djs tore it up. I mean the had the place bustin there asses. Crowd was amazing.....vibe was perfect......and drink prices were actually affordable (no wonder I have such a hangover this morning...lol). Mad props to Craig for throwin a kickin party on wednesday nights.

Yes not all of us can afford to go out 2-3 times a week. But hey I heard they were playin techno at RED and Living Room. So I went and checked it, and enjoyed it. I've seen Stryke at Red 2 times and also Demo at LR twice. But to cut on me for saying I'd like to see Richie or Carola @ space aint fair. Richie to me is a local. Im from chicago and have grown up listening to him and other great techno djs from my hometown area. Now just because I like techno and havent been to these "tech" night EVERY week is fair to say Im jumping on some bandwagon or not supporting the scene. Oh well who cares anyways

I have a drug test(urine) on thursday or friday(26/27th). Last day I smoked was wed/17th. I drink about 6-8 glasses of water per day. To play it safe I want to use some kind of "quik flush" or other cleanser but I dont know where any head shops are. If anyone has any suggestions or advice I'd really appreciate it. thanks

Im not hate'n at all. But I just moved here and everything is progressive. Almost all the djs that Miami brings in are prog house/trance(at least what I see). How bout a little variety... Green Velvet, John Acquaviva, Carola, Dave Clarke, Josh Wink, Adam Beyer, Cristian Varela, Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, just to name a few. What does everybody else think?
