  1. You are so right about Bar-A. I worked there this summer bartending, and I must say, I have NEVER made so much money in my life!! Also, has'nt ANYBODY from central Jersey gone to XL?? I am a big DEKO fan (I work there on Thursday) but XL is what the old ABYSS and Hunka Bunka used to be. Older, beautiful, dressed up drinking crowd. Heaven for anyone looking to escape the 18 to party 21 to drink venue. Everyone should check it out this weekend. I will be there Friday and Saturday behind the bar. p.s. i am not promoting, just loving the place....
  2. I did not know it was my birthday Joe, but hey I am always looking for a reason to celebrate
  3. : Nice meeting you TraceTee now I know who you are, so I''ll come by and say hello Nice to meet you too Victor! But the next time you come by my bar, you better do a shot with me!! A nice chilled Kettle. See you Thursday!
  4. Hey Victor Not only were you drinking at my bar with the XL crew on Thursday, but you drank from my bar all summer long(tuesdays) at Bar-A. Remember me now?
  5. If Dean Masi is in one room, and Unique is in the other---what more could a girl ask for???
  6. You cant forget TraciTee bro. She does have the busiest bar......well, after me of course:D
  7. Thank You for addressing this issue with such passion. Hey---there are over 600 people that viewed this post, that is alot of free promoting, don't you think? I said this a million times--GOOD LUCK! Next time, please don't take things so personal. Not everyone is going to agreee with your opinions, or mine. Can we be friends??
  8. The only thing I want to know is why has a friendly debat turned into a personal battle, complete with name calling and foul language. Just for the record, you not only insult me with your comment about having a degree and bartending on the side, but you insult the people who work for you at the venues you promote. WAY TO GO!

  11. I think your comment was out of line, and extreamly unprofessional. I am an educated women with a degree. The only "retarted" person here is the one doing the name calling. This ISSUE is as dead as your club in 6 weeks.
  12. Dear Mr. VIP TECH and associated crew, As BIG TIME PROMOTERS new to the area, don't you think it is wise to get into your car and drive 3 miles south to your biggest competition and check out DEKO Lounge. Since you spend alot of your time waiting for pm's to put people on your guest list, maybe you should see where EVERBODY in the biz is really hanging out. Does Denny Tstettos, or Ritchy Santana ring a bell? I am not trying to be a bitch, all I am saying is it is important to RESPECT! The first week Sleep was open, i went to the door and said I worked at Deko----the answer I got?? "Why are you not there now?"This is not an issue of 8 bucks, it's an issue of knowing whos who, and whats what. Thank You and good luck.
  13. Thank You Chris for your offer (we have spoken about this before) but that is exactly my point---why should you have to pay out of your pocket? Many clubs insist that their staff maintain an active guest list just to keep your job. As bartenders, DJ's, dancers ect....you are mostly asked to work someplace because you have a good following. I guess Sleep feels like they are too good for this type of business, and their name alone will pack the place. A word to the wise--nothing has survived in that building--from clubs (detours) to restraunts (too many to mention). You might want to give up a few bucks at the door to keep your name out of the mud!
  14. Hopefully Saturday nights are better than Friday night. I agree that there were alot of people, but the music was BORING!!! Oh-and how do you not welcome other people in the industry?? I bartend at Deko, and I still had to pay a 8 dollar cover. I can't tell you the last time I paid to walk into a Jersey club (thank you to all of the other clubs I have been to that waived the cover fee, and bought me and my friends a drink) All that I am trying to say is do not piss off the people in the biz because we are the ones with the biggest voices in the industry. If we feel insulted, then we are the ones who talk the most. Good Luck to Sleep! I will never set foot in there again
  15. Did anyone else stop by DEKO last Thursday? Well, they started a new thing called "Complimentry Martini Tasting" (as much as you desire, might I add) until 11:30. They had all kinds of different martinis, including "the problem child" which was lit on fire before the final liquor was added. Something right out of Vegas!!! I WILL be back this week!! Who else is in???
  16. Why yes, as a matter of fact I do! You can usually find me next to my partner in crime--Shaun, downstairs. Every now and then I am upstairs at the main bar.
  17. 48 hours left and counting. If you missed it last time, well-- you made a mistake. If you miss it this time, you have created a problem! Eric Morillo knows his music, and he knows how to keep you untill the lights go on! Get there early, and screw work in the morning! Hey, I'm begining to feel like queenbee! Love u girl! See you @ DEKO
  18. Eric was great! He played the crowd as if DEKO was his own house party! I had the chance to meet him after the night was over, and let me say not only is he a awesome D.J, but a wonderful person. He was being forced into doing shots of tequila in the booth by a certain club owner, and spitting it back into the shot glass! CLASSIC! I am counting the days untill he returns next month. For those of you who were afraid to come out in the snow this time, you missed an incredible night! See you next month or you will regret it!
  19. Hey! I did not know that you were working on PANIC SUNDAY! by the way, is it your turn to bring in the coffee on thursday or is it mine???
  20. OKAY! I MAY NOT BE WORKING BEHIND THE BAR THIS THURSDAY--BUT I SURE WILL BE NEXT TO IT! SEE YOU ALL AT THE MAIN BAR ON THURSDAY NIGHT---SHOTS ANYONE????
  21. OKAY, AS FAR AS THE PERFECT DRINK, I WOULD HAVE TO SAY IT ALL DEPENDS ON HOW I AM FEELING. 1. KETTLE/CLUB= A GREAT NIGHT OUT 2. STOIL'O' 007= A FUN NIGHT OUT 3. WATERMELON MARTINI (MADE CORRECTLY!)=A NIGHT TO REMEMBER-OR FORGET! SHOTS--MALIBU/CAPITAN MORGAN W/ CRAN & MIX-FAB-U-LOUS CRACK HAUSE AND SOCO ARE OUT!!! SORRY LADIES--THEY GET YOU WAY TO DRUNK AND THEN, WELL, YOU START TO LOOK SLOPPY!
