they can also sit around the next day and twiddle their thumbs about why they arent making $$. Maybe its because they dont know how to run a club.....try getting a customer base before starting to get picky on who you want in your club and who you dont. They're doing it the opposite way around....trying to find a customer base in a very niche market of a certain type of clubber. Learn the rules before you start playing the game of running a club! You let everybody in for the first year or two..until you gain a nice reputation....not make people try and sweat your club cause they cant get in cause you dont look a certain way. I do that with guys I meet......play hard to get. You dont play hard to get in the club business without some stellar reputation...which platinum does NOT have. Do you think Bunka was able to go 23 for guys in their first year?? Do you think SF was always "The Pretty People Place"? Heck no....Platinum is trying to turn their place into the hot commodity...turning people away if they dont have the "platinum look". Give me a break....this is why the place always looks like an empty basement. Lean the rules!

possibly....but then let me ask you a question....do you go to bunka and deko on different saturday nights? If you are making a decision on going to one vs the other each saturday....then to me that means they compete. Yes the atmosphere is somewhat different.....but when it comes down to it....most people on saturday say to themselves...."bunka or deko tonite"? dont you?

was it that hard to tell? Why would I have said WOW if I wasnt there. Anyway I thought Robbie was fucking incredible!! My girlfriend Terry who lives 3 blocks away made me go there last night......I was reluctant cause I knew it was new. But i winded up having a sick time. The crowd was great....great looking people! Me and Terry are going again tonite actually. i heard its a different party but we're hoping its the same atmosphere and same type of crowd.

For all that dont know what this post is about, let me explain Laurie said some extremely negative and absurd things about people on this board and Denny Tsettos......once on one of Denny's own threads. Due to her actions, she was banned from Tempts. This was right before a key party she was looking to attend there. SHe was not allowed to attend there for a good part of the summer. She had to change her plans and hang out in Hoboken and play golf more because she couldnt go out down the shore. The same people that work the Saturday Tempts party, work the Abyss Friday party. These are also the same people that book Tooch's gigs. When someone earlier in the thread said Laurie hasnt been to Abyss in ages, that is correct....due to her confusion whether she is banned from Abyss also. This has not been made clear to the public arena though if she is. She is confused on whether she can even attend Abyss or not...without being told at the door to go home. This hurts her because she hung out there every Friday last fall/winter. So....due to her ill-will towards the people that banned her, etc....she from time to time will create threads that cause drama for those people. SHe started this thread with the "ha ha.....tooch is done at abyss.....what comes around goes around" type of attitude. She will continue to do this in the future. Stating the facts for the newbies..................................
