  8. vision. circus. crowbar. zentra. dragon room. red no5. soundbar (if it opens by then). smartbar. red dawg............. you can PM me for specifics
  9. I'm tired of my peeps hating on my style, I soppose I wear some different (maybe even questionable) things then the average joe at times... I'm sure some people may question if I'm gay or not because of my fashion sense. I'm totally straight and have nothing against gay people. But the stereotypes are annoying. Anyone else run into this or agree?
  10. Why dont ya'll be the Fanta girls? ("fanta fanta.....dont you want a fanta fanta...")
  11. Anyone have any good bars that can accomodate about 150 people for a happy hour (4-7pm on a Saturday) in Manhattan? (other then Seaport or financial district) Thanks!
  12. Probably got hit some spots like Centro Fly, Eugene's, Supper's, Groove Jet and Float......it's all pending.......may change when I get to NYC............. thanks for the help
  13. LOL And wait a few more months for girls waiting in line with NO COAT, freezing their asses off with a tank or something... because "dont want to pay for coat check"
  14. Just wondering if "the bowling ball look" shoes like these work in clubs in NYC? Or even diesel sneaks..or similar shoes? I Love dancing, and cant handle wearing dress shoes at clubs! I never run into any problems here in chicago with shoes like these:
  15. I personally am going to kill the next kid I see with a skinny tie......
  16. Dont wear brown shoes unless you have a matching brown belt. Brown shoes and a black belt looks simply tacky. Brown doesnt usually work with grey. A tan jacket would look hot with brown shoes....
  17. I personally wont wear a shirt without an undershirt. Nothing looks worse then sweaty armpits or nipples for a guy.....thus the undershirt, to absorb the sweat. I personally prefer to wear a V neck shirt under a button down shirt. It looks classy, and doesnt ride up on your neck like a regular collar T. Make sure the v Neck T is a decent quality (i.e banana/ gap/jcrew).
  18. what do you guys recommend? Good Hip Hop joints....maybe some house mixed in..........but NON ghetto Thanks
  19. hey ya'll......I'm coming to NYC halloween weekend, any recommendations where to shop for cloths? (NYC authentic spots). Thanks!
  20. It's still around, and probably going to die soon (now that newsweek, GQ, and Time have featured it in recent months).
  21. I love Gap Bootcuts........
  22. I wouldnt necessarily say it's a fad. Hmmm....well, maybe it is? Alot of bands in the scene have been doing this kind of music for a long time before it was branded "Electroclash." Bands like Ladytron and others have been scapegoated into this genre.... Now that the media has goten a hold of the term "electroclash," and called it "the next big thing," there will most likley be a backlash and the music will return to obscurity. The thing that pisses me off is there are alot of PROGRESSIVE electronic pop bands out there, and I know they will be thrown in with the electroclashers out there.......and their music wont be given a chance.
  23. Seems like Electro Clash is getting more mainstream recently, bands like Fisherspooner have been embraced by every magazine I can think of (makes me sick they got signed to UK's Ministry of Sound). Anyways, I think the scene is being exploited and turning into a fad....... What do you guys think?
