  1. greenspan dictates monetary policy, not the president....the guy's been in charge under clinton and bush. those without a job..sorry that you dont have one...but the reality is, vote kerry in and youre going to be without one for a whole while longer. Economy to tank on a kerry win...stability with bush
  2. in the meantime, how's the bedroom up in your piece?
  3. some should just come out and say it....who cares about a fish tank in a club??? prove yourself with the crowd you bring, not the elegance of your tank
  4. Esteban, Morales has been on KTU for years now. If you are interested, a # of his sets are available in "Realaudio" format online @ www.undergroundnyc.com. Keep up the promotion of soulful house. Peace Carusomaas
  5. this thread is related to this thread (below).....cant read one without the other....see my 3rd post on first page http://bbs.clubplanet.com/showthread.php?t=243402 and I may say...baldbull you were used as a pawn in my theory here but you stood your ground and let this go for almost the whole day. You are a good sport...but You are truly a Democrat...one who will do nothing when faced with intimidation. I'll vote for Bush. peace
  6. good note. Signing up for the armed forces has become a free way to get some money for college. The reality is...when you sign your name, you risk your life and you follow whatever our country orders you to do. If you dont agree with the cause...too bad. I personally agree with the cause....Saddam tried to intimidate our country by trying to shoot down our planes that patrolled thier country as part of a UN resolution from the first Gulf War, publicly intimidated us in the media, and was a horrible violent dictator (with or without Weapons of Mass Destruction). Baldbull...Next time someone comes on this board and does something that pisses you off, intimidates you, etc..lets see if you dont retaliate. If you dont...then maybe you are right...Bush shouldve had more patience and waited til Saddam did somethig else bigger. Lets test this out now actually.....check out this thread (see link below)...lets see if you can take like a man. doubtful. your prob just a hypocrit like the rest of 'em. http://bbs.clubplanet.com/showthread.php?p=2398797#post2398797
  7. I met Baldbull in a club this weekend and he tried to get my # and tried to oogle me several times during the night. He is now PMing me non stop and is making references to "rough play" via PM messages. I may have to get others involved if this doesnt stop. If his friends are out there...please tell him to stop. I am not gay...and did not know that he was gay. thanks
  8. person beheaded was a contractor....looking to make a pretty penny by working in a high risk area/country (companies offer their workers big bucks to work in Iraq, Saudi Arabia, etc). THey had balls being there...although death should never be a penalty for anyone...these "contractors" had the choice to be there and they made the wrong choice. They shouldve tried robbing banks if they were that money hungry
  9. please tell me how this relates to this thread....did anyone say anything wasnt precorded? In fact...if you read, i said "KTU was playing a set from 3/29/04"..which people with a brain realize is recorded. All of your jibberish above has nothing to do with the fact that the station was misleading people by saying Denny was live when it was a taped Tiesto recording instead. I was about to blame Denny because I heard he was live earlier that night...but in reality its probably the guy working the buttons half asleep on sunday night
  10. Driving home at 3:30am on Sunday night and listening to this Tiesto set they are playing on KTU. Its the 3/29/04 liveset from the WMC...great set. I've heard it many times before. All of a sudden Denny comes on (talking) and says "This is Denny Tsettos and youre listening to me workin the wheels of steel on the one and only KTU" so... a) wheels of steel? at KTU??? hardly. Last time I was there, there were no tables to found anywhere in the joint Denny was at Seaside about 30 minutes earlier...i doubt he's in the studio c) They're playing a Tiesto set and Denny comes on and says he spinning "on the wheels of steel"????? I dont know if i'm trying to call out Denny or KTU here...but its just annoying how much BS goes on in this industry. peace

  14. stop posting...youre annoying. and you still havent learned how not to jack a thread
  15. One of the "facts" on the caps is "Only half these facts are true". So...if that cap is one of the true ones, then truely only half are facts and lipstick one is probably one of the false ones. But, if that fact is false, then they are all true. But if they are are all true, then only half the facts are true (as this cap states). Its a big circle of lies and confusion....

  17. just go tailgate, then rent that SYN3 bus to take you to Djais...have it wait around for 2-3 hours when it will take you to Tempts. (no I am not a promoter for syn3 nor do I know that"imnuts" guy on this board...just giving you my take on how to get the best out of that day).
  18. I bought mix CD's from the city or the flea market or from some dude who "knew a guy" who sold mix cd's. Never bought a piece of vinyl in my life before becoming interested in mixing tracks together...which most people never get involved in. A Regular Joe buying vinyl is unrealistic was my point. downloading has hurt the music industry but I do not believe it is slowing the vinyl industry as much as you may have been implying. Now..Tsettos' new mix CD might be having a problem with sales....I'll give you that the fact is...we're not talking about Dave Matthews songs here. We are not talking about songs that come out on CD singles available to play in your car or at the gym. We are talking about tracks that are usually otherwise not available to the Regular Joe..unless he can download them. There is not a widespread availability in CD format to listen to house music. Even if you purchased all the hot mix cd's out there...you'd still only get to listen to 1% or less of all the housemusic out there..and you are listening only to one DJ's picks, not your own. I love going on a vinyl site...hearing the previews and then downloading the track. Its not stealing...I never wouldve bought the track for $10 plus shipping...nobody lost out on the sale because the REgular Joe never was buying it in the first place. (That said..back when i thought I was a superDJ...i did buy tracks, but i had a use for them in the club, not in my car/at the gym). Again we can go at this forever. Currently...there is no affordable widespread (keyword widespread) availability of housemusic for the Regular Joe outside of downloading. Those that buy vinyl and are DJ's...thats your job to purchase music. I pay $$$$'s to maintain suits, my CPA license, etc each year for my job. Outside of a job...vinyl has little use and is not practical in today's lifestyle on the go in your car and at the gym. GIve me a website that allows me to download mp3's (as new as they come out on vinyl) for $1 a piece and I'll find you 100,000 people who will spend $10 a week on tracks. Otherwise there's no inbetween getting tracks for free and $10 a track right now. The industry needs to find a medium for Regular Joe
  19. that is my favorite site....best discohouse selection in the US. It sucks that it comes from California though...tracks are old by the time you get em..lol.
  20. I had a short-lived,less-than-10-gig Dj career. I did the CD thing first and then switched to vinyl. Like you, I realized that if you want any kind of respect doing this stuff, you cant be using CD's. (Then I got a big promotion and dont have time for my fledging DJ career...I suck anway) BUT..my point here is...you cant expect any non-DJ to be buying house music. You are dogging velvetrope for downloading..the kid isnt a DJ man! You expect him to buy a $6-$10 piece of vinyl for one good track? And where is he going to play that track...on his turntable in his car? Or maybe he can bring it to the beach and play it on his turntable walkman? Or are you expecting him to sit for hours and rip sick every vinyl into his own mp3 which he can then burn...who's got the time for that?? Your comments are unrealistic. You are a DJ..and yes all DJ's who want any kind of respect need to purchase vinyl and do away with downloading....but for the every-day-Joe...get real love you dude..just making a point
