We’ll probably start our night @ Scarlett’s (it’s a good meeting place in the middle) and work our way. I know the Diplomat is big, but it SUCKS!!! What else is there?

Prole, Thereso and two other bands at Cafe Nostalgia, DT Miami.

  2. Laliux....it is inevitable that a great party will attract diversity. If not check out Back Door Bambi...Six years and still going and going...

IMO, salamandering the crowd at a party is wrong. As wrong is Thomas for getting so offended. It is true there is a mixed crowd. That won't deter anyone from attending, which I understand is your case. Lets leave the drama behind. Cause being soooooo defensive just creates bad vibe. Or go to Blue tomorrow and show your support to great music.

Maybe if we had more successful mixed parties SOBE would be what it used to be. ;)

Believe me, this is the best decision for the party to continue its growth.

Going weekly, we took a risk. And we demonstrated all those who didn't believe that it was possible.

No need to keep up in a relation if we are the only ones giving. It's like in love. You only miss when you've lost...

Anyway, Phat Music Sessions just ended its cycle at Lola.

My feeling is that a weekly at Lola would had turned our night into just another party. And that isn't the reason we started all this.

We will keep our formatt and keep all of you posted. For some time now we have had serious offers. I will study them with my team and decide when and where. Just want to reiterate, we closed a cycle, not died. Even though there were enough reasons to want to kill our party.

I'm leavin to NYC tomorrow. Sad to hear. F**k 'em, bro. :bigfinge::biggun:

I will see U when I'm back. Don't give up, I had great nites there and the music was some of the best I've heard since movin' down here.

    Thanx for the vibe.:)

  4. I've been offerd 2 tuntables Technics 1200, a Pioneer 300 mixer, and 2 JBL EON15P-1 self-powered spkrs for $1200. A friend told me it is a good deal cause new would be almost $2000.

Everything has a box except the speakers. Is there a magazine in Miami where I could compare prices for used DJ equipment?

    Please let me know......................!

    TRUE. TRUE. TRUE

The Rave Act is the most serious threat to electronic music. I'll save a little of my CP time to support people like Weyes and Milano.:)

Didn't Biz mention this as one of his points a couple days ago already?

There could be no picture of Space with New Jersey in the patio if this law passed. Make your dreams come true. Stand for them.

Don't let the few drug users ruin it for you, for your younger generation, for clubs, for DJs, for producers, for magazines, for even this webpage I guess.

The whole industry would shake, if not collapse. An industry that has grown due to unity and support of each and every one of us. Wouldn't it be sad to have to go across the Atlantic to dance?

Maybe if the US's "War on Drugs" was effective they would'nt even have to think about a "war on clubs" and nightlife in general.

Each of us counts. Awareness is also our right.:type:

For the records Saleen351.........I drink, dance and listen to music because I want to. That is freedom.

    Tonight: Lola, Spin, Crobar

    Sat.: Crobar and Space

    Have fun,
