Listen I been in the game a long time and I have my favorite places too, but the bottom line is it is packed every sat night and Fridays they are doin about 700 heads riight now, big dj's are booked theme partys are planned, speakers are being added regularly and the lighting is getting better little by little, it takes a lot of money, a lot of you might not realize how much. I have been in the scene for a long time, been bartending for 12 years at some of the best spots in NJ, this place has a lot of potential and is getting better by the week, honestly if you dont wanna come, dont!!! There are a lot of people who love it. I am not defending the place from your opinions, everyone has their own opinions and this place isnt gonna be for everyone, cant please everybody, but as far as the place goin under, not when you are doing the numbers they are doin right now. And by the way the drink prices are less than Deko and Joey's, as for the cover it is the same as all the other clubs. If you havent been there you really dont know, dont believe everything you hear. If you have been there and had a bad experience I am sorry to hear that and dont blame you for not coming back.

In all honesty Saturdays have been the busier night, should have been there last Sat for Ojeda!!! I totally hear your point though, if you had 2 bad experiences, I wouldnt expect you to come back, sorry that was the case, but changes were just made gonna take a couple of weeks to promote and let it all come together.

I have no problem with you voicing your opinion about the place, I do the same thing about the places I go, but you are taking it a little far, its like you just signed up to bash studio. I am not gonna deny there are some kinks that need to be worked out, and they are in the process of being fixed, and I dont blame you if you dont come there again, maybe it isnt for you. Bottom line is Studio 9 is not going anywhere and it is only gonna get better, I have been in the business for 12 years and have been going to clubs way before that, and I see a ton of potential in this place!!!! By the way if you read my posts about studio 9, I am very objective, and let everyone know we encourage feedback and suggestions, that is much different than hating though!!!!

People tend to waste alcohol when they can get as much as they want, but I agree a lot of places understaff during open bar, which I dont feel is right, but thats the way it goes I guess.

And smart bar owners would limit one drink at a time per person!!!

Fire alarm situation is taken care of, early closing?, It is the only place in jersey where you can go have a great dinner, (which if you have dinner there is no cover for the club), party in a huge brand new beautiful room, and stumble to the hotel next door, which have shuttles running to and from the club all night, just wondering how you could make all these judgements and the place is open for one week, Rome wasnt built in 1 day!!!!

I just have a few things to say, I know you said this doesnt apply to me, but I dont agree with some of what you said. Most of my friends are bartenders, and trust me they dont think they are celebrities, we promote ourselves in order to make more money, thats it, Although I am not one of them, there are a lot of carreer bartenders out there, who by the way make more money than you think. I am not saying that some bartenders dont steal, but 90% that is a little rediculous, there are a lot of really good bartenders with great reputations, who are honest, and who understand the more money you put in the register is the more money you make, its a percentage thing. As for the cover as bartenders we have no control over that, so what we think really doesnt matter, but 1500 people didnt seem to mind. your comments, opinions, and feedback are appreciated, and trust me all of the issues, gripes, and suggestions, that all of you have made have been brought to management and ownership, we all want studio 9 to be a place where everyone has a great experience!!!

I will check in to this again, because if that happened I sincerely apologize, as for the drink prices, there is no way you got a martini at joeys for $6, grey goose there is $7.50 or $8 in a drink more if you have it up!!!! I am over 26 as well, and I drink goose or Ketel, I always at least expect to pay 6-9 dollars for it, the price you pay for drinkin top shelf. Joe from abyss worked in the martini lounge on Sat, and like I said before, we have some of the best bartenders around and their reputations preceed them!!!! $12 cover is a lot? , and that was not reduced, someone told you wrong!!!! bartenders: Ricky, linette, joanie (work at surf club and have for years) Artie, jen, misty, erin, justin (work at djais and have for years) All of us worked on Saturday, and those ARE the facts!!! I dont know where you go or what you like, but I am sorry you had a bad experience, in time all of our kinks will be worked out, and hopefully you and your friends will give it another try.

Those comments were completely false, I looked into it!!!! Parking was free and you park yourself, and there was absolutely not mandatory coat check, which by the way is FREE!!!! Your mixup with being charged diff. prices was taken care of and once again I apologize for any incovenience!!! There are alway haters, its cool, expected it!!!
