you are aware Pat Tetrick was dj'ing last night also...perhaps you heard a change in djs? I think someone who has been at this 15 years does have a clue what he is doing.

I agree the downfall of Maze is not coming soon. It takes time and a lot of effort to create a vibe. I think Maze is on to something here. Word of mouth is a good way right now to help get more people in the club. As I've heard before....Rome wasn't built in a day.

you guys have your heads up your collective asses! Markus Schulz is hands down one of the most creative and tallented djs I've ever heard. Armin Van Buurn was amazing. The whole night was definately worth every second of my time. Unfortunate there were not more people there but that will take time. Again the sound was amazing, the music was great, the lighting was awesome and the visuals were right on. Club Maze AND Markus Schulz get kudos and my respect for putting a quality product in Miami.

exactly what do you see is wrong? in my opinion this guy is amazing! he's been dj'ing 15 years, has his own label, has spun at almost every major club and event from here to london to ibiza! i don't get it. please explain

just wanted to add a little info regarding Maze. Markus Schulz is the friday night resident. He is working closely with the management regarding the upcoming guest dj bokings. Armin Van Buuren was a great choice for them for next week. After all he just got the #5 spot on DJ Mag's top 100. Maze is working with Balance regarding booking their djs. After all, it was Sasha and the rest of the Balance staff that suggested to Maze they hire Markus as the resident. Who else would you all like to see booked? This is a great opportunity to get your ideas out there so we can get working on them.... BTW, yesterday someone mentioned "Cocoon"....did you hear RIchie Hawtin and Sven Vath on the radio show last week? We tried to get them in to Maze for their tour, but they only had 5 dates and they were booked....they will let Maze know when they start planning the next tour.

Here are my comments on Maze..... First off, I can't believe I missed so many of you. Hopefully I will get to meet you next week at the AVB show. The sound in that place is unbelieveable! I can't wait to hear the future line up on that system. I was figuratively and litterally blown away. Markus Schulz was fabulous. I have been listening to his radio show and thought he was quite tallented. So glad I now have a place to hear him play live. Anyone heard his remix of Manilla Sunrise on Yoshitoshi yet? I had never heard Bill Hamel play before. I was only familliar with his Sunkissed imprint, but I must say I was impressed with his music choice. I have seen BT's live PA a few times but this was the first time I had heard his spin....I thouth he was good, but he didn't change my life. Looking forward to next week and Armin!

I can't wait for ths club to open....looks like they have the best of everything. Amazing sound, hottest djs, totally remodeled location. Look forward to seeing everyone there tomorrow!

AVB will be the guest dj on The Global DJ Broadcast this sunday night on 93.1
