I def get what your saying about certain djs from the 70s being in top form at a young age. But im talking about those same djs from that era who have only improved since then.

I agree.

I dont mean automatically, im talking bout longetivity,legacy, technical, cretivity, wide range of musical ability. All the djs i mentioned can and have played music from the 1960s until now and ALL forms of of the dance genre.

Im not knockin avb at all im sure he is very frinedly to the crowd and very POPULAR but that doesnt mean the best, maybe in his genre, ok.. And how do some of these guys play music for that long i cant tell ya.

I dont get your response. My fave djs does not mean best dj in the world. But i will say djs who have been djiing since the 1970s should get more regonition than a dj who was born in the mid 70s, dont cha think. FRANCOIS K, DANNY TENAGLIA, JUNIOR VASQUEZ, TONY HUMPHRIES, DANNY KRIVIT, DANNY RAMPLING, FRANKIE KNUCKLES, LOUIE VEGA, TIMMY REGISFORD all come to mind. But then again this is all my opinion.
