Ive been to sp on a friday and sat.MUSIC is very commercial and the people are vey snooby boring scene type of people. If you wanna meet people ther then fine go. But if you wat to dance then dont go.

if you wanna hang out with your friends meet new people then go to back to school or a lounge.Dont waste space on the dancefloor please. Its annoying when theres people just standing around talking in a big part of the floor while some of us wanna dance and enjoy the music. I have a friend who wears his shades when we go clubbing. I dont have aproblem, but i had a problem at ROXY when i went a few fri. ago, cause EVERY GUY HAD them and they all looked and danced the same. So if your in a place like that change up the style dont overkill it. LOT61,SUITE16,LOTUS,even SPA,EUGENES,SERENAS, there is a tiny if anypercent no dancing at those places.

Websterhall does have a 70,80,90,and now floor. It also has a house,techno,trance floor. As well as 2 other floors. Fridays and sats are good. But my preference is FRIDAYS. On thursday i dont think they open all the floors.

Ive been there a few times since 2000 and the last time i was there was in oct. On a saturday though. MIKE KAOS is the resident dj and hes very commercial WOW is he commercial and its good for people who like that style but not for me. A suprise that people actually do dance their and dont no posers and a good pickup spot and a cheap hotel 3blocks away makes it great.

I also went to ROXY for the first time 4weeks ago since 2000. And i also was like WOW everyone is wearing the same thing same hair styles, and allllllllllllllllll dance the same. And then i started realizing wait a minute there all 18yrs old maybe that could be why they think their somethign special some shitliek that maybe i dont know. Its funny how everyguy in their dances and looks the same at least the girls have a different dancing style. When me and my friends went their some of the guys their tried to battled but couldnt compete.MUHAAHHAHAHAHAHA. Must be my spin in the ai twist that gts the ladies. Anyway yea very nice reasons iliana i really burst out laughing when agreed with you.

I also saw the move on fri and loved it. Even my girlfriend who hates movies like this agreed that is was a great story. And i dont think the length was a problem since the movie didnt drag at all. Im gonna get that dvd in 5months. Makesyou wonder about what was around 200yrs ago where are favorite clubs are now.

Maybe younger people to the scene prefer mp3 and computers for djiing. And old school folks like the vinyl im a young guy myself but i grew up with the old school style with my cus and bro. And im a believer a dj is TUNRTABLES,MIXER,SPEAKERS,VINYL. New people like, LAPTOPS,MOUSE,FREEMUSIC.

Ive been inside only twice maybe ive been lucky. Belevie it aint crap. Just a lot of posers no dancing. I was with one guy and 3 girls maybe that helped.lol. But seriosuly its a PRETTY PEOPLE CLUB everyone thinks there important and famous siping there drinks. Although there re some celebrities in there somtimes and i did manage to meet on the HILTON twins but she remembered me from websterhall. So thatw as pretty cool BUt besides that not eal;ly my style. AND it was allhip hop on firday damn what abig mistake for me. I dont know if i will ever go back again. But me ad my friend were about to go but we said fuckit lets go to RoXY instead. Im not a big roxy head but its not bad.

LOL. Out of the whole cd i can only say out of the 26 songs i like only 5 of the songs. People somehow worship this guy i dont know why. Maybe its cause his cds sell more than anybody else i guess. Maybe its because it has NYC on the cover i dont know. I liked almostall the tracks on PETER RAUHOFER LIVE AT ROXY cd. Its mcuh older than louies but its hot.

Johnny vicious is not a trance dj. he s a PROGRESSIVE house dj, well more of a hard house dj. And websterhall isnt trance neither people. im friends with DJ MOODY AND MIKE RIZZO and they say they play more progressive,tribal, than trance. And HOUSE MUSIC all night long people. BUt hard,ll i dot liek to get down to simple house at clubs i owuld listen to it but not at a club. Im not saying trance is garbage but im not into it as much as some people. Tiesto mix of "SILENCE" by sara mclachlan is trance but i dont get crazy for that mix although it is good. THE SANCTUARY MIX of "SILENCE" is progressive house and everyone i know lovs thta mix so much better than tiestos. I dont know different people like dfferent things thats why its always good to find a place where a dj is good at HOUSE,TRANCE.

I havent heard this track yet. But i do remembr the one that came out in 1994. And the radio one was just funny. But ARMANDS FUNKY TRANCE MiX i liked. I remember hearing it the one time i was able to sneak into CLUB EXPO with my fake id. Also that night i saw la bouche. And i liked hearing them live but thank god the dj at the time didnt play thier track at the club.

so POWDER s good huh. well whats a good nihgt to go there. And do people get down there. I hate going to clubs when people dont really get down. They jst chill by the bar and walk the floor and dance for like a song or 2. ex:SPA ON FRIDAYS, CENTRO FLY on thurs.

I use to go to twilo in 1998 on sats and it was hot. I miss hearing house music like that. Man ive been to all those clubs i mentioned on thurs,fri,sat. i figured one of those nights has to be hot, but so far nothing. I plan on going to ARC soon but on a friday to hear danny. SHELTER from waht ive been hearing wont be my style of music to hear. And why did you TOLYK say CORBO was a joe. I thought he was good, and i wasnt the only one.

I hear ya to me its all about the music. If i can find a dj thatjust letsme dance all night long then im there. I m gonna try to check out arc it dont matter if its small. But im gonna have to wait until my knee gets better. Its swollen from dancing yesterday at websterhall from opening till closing.Thanx for the info.

Im new to these boards and just wondering what peoples opinions are on what was my fave club from 1999- (oct)2002. Sat nights with RICK CORBO was a great night of non stop dancing for me and my crew. But he was replaced wth SMOKEY and now MIKE RIZZO on sat nites. I dont go there as much as i use to and if i do i go on fridays with DJ MOODY. Of course webster isnt the most well decorated club in nyc but i only go to clubs to dance not hold up the walls. But id ont get the same vibe from the other dj like did with rick. Mike is good so im not trying to insult him or anything. iVE been cecking out other clubs andi just aint liking anything ive been to. THURS,FRI,SAT im out there trying to see if these places fill my void ,lol. SPA,CENTROFLY,CHINACLUB,ROXY,FLOAT. Ive been tryin thoseclubs on different ights an im just not feelin them. I avent been to discotheque yet but i hear some good things. Sat the djthere is DJ BORIS and ve heard boris from when he use to open for rick and somtimes fill in for him. Not really my style. SOUNDFCTORY is not a place i want to go to anymore. EXIT wth junior well i like his music at least i use to back in TWILO but now its more of a dominant gay crowd there and thats not my style. I know danny is great. But hows the vibe at ARC and what about SHELTER. Even CAPITALE is a new spot and its huge but hink its what i call a pretty people club.People go there to act like there important and dont get down hard. My style of music is PROGRESSIVE,TRIBAL,VOCAL,HARD,TECH HOUSE with some trance. Any suggestions and why. And sometimes the big name djs produce a few good tracks and hey get overrated. A good producer does not always make a good DJ for a club.

I plan on going to ESSEX for new yrs eve. DJ RICK CORBO will be spinning there. I know the music will be hot i jut hope some of that pretty people crowd get down that night. Sometimes the music could be hot but the crowd can make the sounds feel bad. I havent been to that place b4 has anyone else been there. I personally like DANNY TSETTOS, DJ UNIQUE, DJ RICK CORBO are some other suggestions.
