  1. i agree 100% about the crowd. Theres a small amunt of people their that are music lovers. It has a big space andthe music isnt bad. I dont see why more people dont check it out more. yeah the crowd is bad so why not change it. What else canyou do on sat ights besides the usual places. Theres lots of people i met from FACTORY who go thieirfirst and stick it out till closin then go to factory. I bring up rick alot cause i guess i want the crowd to changge and dont know how to convince ya.
  2. well heres an example of a typical track lst of RICK CORBO on sats in no paticular order of course: Antoine clamaran- alert victor calderone- the drive yoko ono- walkin on thin ice kings of tomorrow- i want you formyself King uniqe- music please robbie rivera- master of drums xpress2- smoke machine cus and ceballos- haunting me superchumbo- drums for better days victoria beckham- not such an innocent girl fused- terror chris cox vs happy clappers- i believe res- they say vision and a whole bunch of other tunes that i cat remember. This is a typical night but these songs were from last week. Of course as some people can see theres old and new stuf. And theres more new stuff tht i dont know names of yet. But anyhow to me this is good music.
  3. Websterhall crowd sucks on saturdays not all the people. Butthe music is great. I ont know how exit is anymore i avent been there. I personlly think ARC is lucky to have both a great crowd and great music. Unfortuntely websterhall only hasgood music on sat and lots of women to turn you on.
  4. i love that TWILO cd, my fave song on that 1st cd is SYSTEM F- CRY.
  5. should i even say IT. IF YOUR A FAN BUY THE ALBUM.
  6. HMMMMMMMM so i didnt exacty get any new answers. But come to think of it. Both of them in one venue for one super long night that lasts until one of them drop would be insane. Of course it cantbeheld at ARC or a place like DISCOThEQUE. Has to be someplace huge that can hold a sitload of people. Regardless of how you feel about certain places. The only 2 i can think of that would be good enouh are WEBSTERHALL or EXIT. I guess i gotta read somearchives to find ot the WHOLE STORY.
  7. ERIC MORILLO has been a superstar for many yrs now. SO of course hes takin you for a house music history when hes spinning.
  8. I read somewhere that there was a fight feud or arguement a few yrs back. Or something like that and that they wouldnt play together anymore. Just curious to hear the story behind it.
  9. good point,lol. i will remember that.
  10. well if you look at my first post it says DANNY in the first 2 or 3 sentence. And it says 4-19- 9something am. So that would mean a saturday morning. And i sad i just got home from arc.
  11. i was also at ARC for the hat party and danny played this track which is kinda old. a female vocal "TIME AND TIME" something like that. thanks.
  12. it was a great night imo but not to be compared to his bday bash, wow that was an amazing night. Yeah he did look cool with all those hats. I think its good when he gets inthe mike casue it gives a feelin like hers talkin to you. One of the best things of the night was thankfully there werent to many guys dancin the same like the lasttimes ive beem there. And the woment here somtiems look to young but fuck it lol. Sometimesi get suprised hearing early danny prodctions and then hearing him live its awesome. There was a track he or ARIELplayed i cant remember now but its a female vocal"TIME AND TIME" somethign like that. All and all i had a great night.
  13. my god that place and music just gets better and better every tiome i go there. SHEESH danny is the best. I cant stop saying it. Im glad i always bumped into people i met the last time i was there as well as new people who i meet. I can only go about once a month but its so fucking worth it.
  14. VICTOR CALDERONE - the drive. Its pretty old but still cant get enough of it as well as KINGS OF TOMORROW - i want you for myself.
  15. not even the great silverbull could hang with the shelter dancers. 2 times i was in a house music dancers pubic access show in the city. And i was the only non shelter guy there wait also another dude from EARTH. And they are banannas. The music is DEEP HOUSE with an old school twist i loved it. BUT im not goin back to that TV SHOW. SHELTER is a great place. And no nonsense people. THANK GOD.
  16. Well first ive been goin to clubs since 98 all over nyc. And there was something always missin in my opinion either the music was ok but the crowd sucked or vice versa. Then i went to websterhall in 99 and at the time RICK was playng trance and i didnt like it at all. And the crowd was a weird one but everybody was having a great time and that made me go back a few months later after my goin crazy at TWILO which mind you i went to only 4 times but loved it. Any how RICK started playing HOUSE more DEEP, TRIBAL PROGRESSIVE, TECH HOUSE, HARD HOUSE. And soon trance was gone from his crates and forget it for the next 4yrs hes been one of my favorite djs in nyc and the world. And eventully we became friends and then our lil crew was born and we all bacame friends. Anyway the reason i MENTION his name so much is cause i KNOW weebsterhall gets a bad name here and thats fine by me. But im always trying to put his name in peoples minds so at leastthis was his nameis around and maybe curiousity will get someoneto check himout and see that hes a great dj maybe not in the most popular club but nonetheless a great dj. And regardless of what people say about WEBSTERHALL it has a long runnin party on sat nights and everyone in their may not be MUSICALLY INCLINE as most of ya,lol, but at least their having a great time. And thats it i appreciate his sounds and wish more peoplewould thast all.
  17. i was gonna be with some friends there around 3ish. But now i guess i will stick around to hear him. Most likely i wont enjoy the musicbut you never know i could be wrong. Me and my clan are goinn to ARC that night. 20mins of pvd is about all i can handle. Interestin side note PVD will be on the same decks that RICK CORBO was spinnin at almost 2yrs ago when WEBSTERHALL did CHYNAS PLAYBOY party. Is their something pvds promoting?
  18. Funny response. Yeah obviously go to hip hop clubs that have small house music rooms. Or hip hop parties theres tons im sure but i dont know or care to know them sorry. Something tells me your hispanic. Just so you know so am i.
  19. from what time to what time is ARC opened on sat is it like fridays. Me an some friends have a another club to go tofirst and want to check it out afterwardsso im curious to see what time it will close.
  20. also i believe NYC is about house not trance. So im happy. Danny and junior were on the list for many yrs your right i forgot about that. MY bro and cuz always use to talk bout them like crazy. anyhow is thier really a difference who gets what vinyl first, Ex: if your inter. dj plays a record right and its hot you like it, but then what do you do he or she wont be back for another few months and by that time they play it again. The record should be on rotation with other djs so whats the point. You get to enjoy it more with local.
  21. i have no clue about eveybody preference is. Sometimes i think its more the venue than the dj. Like for example everyone here knows that i like websterall and i get bashed for it. Big deal always admit te crowd is weak compare to other places but im satisfied always with the music. This sat the 12th im checking out rick from 10 to 530-6ish yes he spins the whole night thank god. And then me and my troops are heading over to arc to hear deepdish i wanna see what thier like live. I like most of thier remixes and im curious to see how they spin live. So im enjoying both local and international on the 12th. Hopefully both will amaze me that night with hot music. And if the crowd is great at arc but the music is better at websterhall im still gonna be satisfy cause its another BIG UP TO local talent. And if their both great then what a weekend especially when i see my gf on sunday afternoon. Sheesh my legs will be gone.lol. Also im goin to a club in queens on friday cAllEd ENTRANCE with DJ MUTT AND RICK CORBO. If it wasnt for deep dish being there on sat i wouldve gone to see danny of course. But theres always next time. And hey BUGOUT have you ever heard "SILENCE" sanctuary mix. I never liked tiestos after v i heard this one. But its just my opinion.
  22. what time will arc be open and what time will it close for deepdish.
  23. maybe its all the 18yr olds who think DANCE MUSIC is only called TRANCE. Also those same peope cant get into other clubs and hear other music by other djs to understand it yet. SIGH.
  24. I think alot of people like producctions tiesto makes so when they go see him is like WOW heres this guy who made that awsome song wow hes live and smiling to us and hesfamous. BIG DEAL. Ive always been against international djs lists. Why not worry about nyc then the world over. There was this other dj i heard b4in soundfactory in 2001 who mixes intros with outros BOOOOO. Cant remember his name. And anybody could play hits after hits after hits but mix it in hot and thenyou got a show.
  25. Ive heard and tiesto live b4 and never like it. Even his production are good until maybe a fw min in then it sounds the same and im sick of trance and have been since 2000. PVD never heard him live but his dvd and 2 cds i heard of him were sorry to say YUK. But i always say maye casue im not a tracne fan im a HOUSEHEAD. Danny is the man in nyc and doest need to always travel. And im sure theres so many other good djs with residency in nyc. But i havent had the chance to check them all out. Ive alread found a great dj in my opinion on sat nights so im stuck goin there cause i cant get enough. ANd danny occasionally on fridays.
