  1. DUDE I love WEBSTERALL, ARC, CHEETAH, what is your point. I like places that have great music crowd to me comes second, the only place i found where everything is PERFECT is at BE YOURSELF FRIDAY NIGHTS WITH DANNY TENAGLIA. Websterhall is fun on sat cause of the music, cheetah is great on sun casue of the music and the people, but not like ARC. Ive been out to so many parties themes and clubs in NYC only and nothing i hae found is better FOR ME than the places ijust name. I DOT NEED INTERNATIONAL STARS with amazing light shows and THEMES all i need is a place with a DJ with awesome RECORDS and space to dance, with fellow music lovers.
  2. some factory people ive met at WEBSTERHALL say they like goiin there now b4 factory. So i say why not check it out if only for the music in the BALLROOM.
  3. Yeah i remember hearing it for the first time and thinkin holy crap awesome drums beat vocal nice freaking track. I dont remember what it look like now but when RICK played it the 1st time i went runnin to the booth to see the record. Its hot, he played it again this weekend. Have you heard TEST AND BORN by CARLO DALLENESE i think it a hot track it came out in march i believe. All i know its on side a first song.
  4. oNLY TME will tell if thier a one hit wonder buti do think their whole album is great.
  5. Which special love do you play. My fave version is the SPECIAL LOVE MIX.
  6. WOW so i guess you dont go out to any clubs here in the us then wow. So why are you on this FORUM under NEW YORK which is in the US. What was so great about that video.
  7. Hey i agree with your comment about websterhalls crowd. I think the percent is more like 10% music lovers and 90% every other element. its like that everynight i believe, but come check it out on a sat night to compare music experience if anything you can chill with me and my small crew who are there for the music.
  8. what are talking about GREASE soundtrack? The mainfloor is not the floor when you first walk into the place. Thats where they play all typesof music. Did you go upstairs to THE BALLROOM believe me RICK had that crowd pmping with some sick DARK, TRIBAL house.
  9. I agree, i just wish people would check it out then speak out about it. Hey i dont smoke do drugs or drink anymore imall about the MUSIC.
  10. I personally have never said that NYC is dead please far from it. Ithink there isnt a problem with the scene at all. To me theres just nothing huge for lack of a better word iN NYC. But there are so many great venues and DJs t hear in NYC. I fucing love it here. What makes a great night at a CLUB for me "MUSIC PLEASE". Whats funny is that if a "regular" plays a track thats old or overplayed then its a crime, bt if a "SUPERSTAR" DJ plays it suddenly it "WAS A GREAT SUPRISE". HOUSE MUSIC ALL NIGHT LONG PLEASE.
  11. how old are you if u dont mind me askin? And when was the last time you were at websterhall on a sat night. And also what do you like in adj and whos your fave dj?
  12. Thats a problem alot of people dont like early house cause its not HARD OR FAST enough. Well HOUSE is a feeling and from the beginig of house to now there are tons of tracks out there with great beats and great vocals as well. Listen to JODEY WATLEYS- SATURDAY NIGHT EXPERIENCE (SHELTER MIX). Awesome. Old school house was being played at CHEETAH last night and it was great.
  13. I wanna hear what are the reasons people on this board are always saying this.
  14. Unfortuntaely sometimes all good things must end. I dont know if thast the case right now, but junio is i think 56yrs old right? Maybe its time maybe its not. Only time will tell. It doesnt help though when he only wants to play for a certain crowd.
  15. I wish i could post up some of the pics i took recently but my pcs are always to big topost on here. Anyways check it out people on a sat night.
  16. oH MY GOD rick was on fire the whole night. AND louis osbourne did a od set as well, but i had a feeling he would cause i heard him at discotheque when he opened up for ERICK MORILLO on thursday he was good. The crowd was actually pretty good then most nights. It was great to see a group of 4 guys i believe who are factory heads as they called themsleves, and then doin the same moves over and over and over again, lol. So when me and my 2 boys battle them after one round they were done. LOL one of them broke is shades when i jumped in the air and he moved packed and step on his shades. That wholeauction thing was annoying, it was funny though when the host was on the mic and RICK was looping KING UNIQUES- MUSIC PLEASE. LOL that was comedy. Cmon its all about the music put theauction back downstairs please. Destinychild cool meeting you sorry we didnt talk much and where did you go i lost ya. Rick had some serious hard new good stuff. The crowd was loving it. The track of the night ahd to be ANTOINE CLAMARAN- COLOMBIA (i think thats the name, it has a sample from THE BOSS- CONGO). Holy crap what a sick track. Itsbeen while since i heard VICTORIA BECKHAMS- not such an innocent girl (robbies 3am dark mix) that when rick payed it WOW the place was goin banannas. Andit brung back memories of arc for a second caus ei havent been there in the longest sigh. It was a great night place stood packed fy the time i left around 5am damn i hate workin on sunday at 10am. So its been a great weekend so far, THURSDAY- ERICK MORLLO AT discotheque was great, Friday- BOWLING was fun, SAT- WEBSTERHALL was great, SUNDAY cheetah was good as well.
  17. HOUSE MUSIC started uderground still is underground and if one day its commericialized and popular like HIP HOP its still gonna be underground as well. And if you need to be "high" or using some stuff to enjoy it damn its a shame, but i understand that sometimes thats how it goes. Look most clubs play house music nowadays also, And ARC, FACTORY, CENTRO FLY arent the only places that MATTER TO THE SCENE, DISCOTHEQUE, WEBSTERHALL, CHEETAH, jesus fcking chritst do ihave to name all the clubs. Every club that we are lucky to have a floor or a room dedicated to house music should be checked out at least once on differen days. yeah so what if theres no big name dj playing there. Does that mean theres no good records in his/her collection. Ive been a fan of house music since 1990, 13 yrs later it is still my fave style of music. As long as the music is good i am very happy, to me the crowd comes second, MUSIC first then the people. Cause nobody can control what type of crowd goes to a venue. But if the dj has some banging beats then why should you not be happy to hear the TUNES. If everybody is waiting for, SPIRIT, CROBAR to open hear and then abandon NYC clubs then your just contributing to decrease in numbers of NYC CLUBS.
  18. Hey crxsi211 check out websterhall on a sat night and see the difference. Onyl place everybody should be goint out to is ARC with danny of course.
  19. I was just about to say the same thing. As for that comment about "AT LEAST DRAPER HAS A RESIDENCY" thats kinda ignorant and stupid (sorry) but thats like saying something along the lines of Cheetah being a better club than LIMELIGHT because its still open.
  20. DRAGON BALL Z hairstyles and guys who all dance the same. Also people who dont dance in a club. I understand if your tired from dancing but keep that drink away from me please.
  21. Ive never heard LOUIS OSBOURNE b4 but it looks like im stuck with him twice this week is he good. Cause he will also be at WEBSTERHALL with RICK CORBO on sat.
  22. i wish i was able to go to this oneught it was gonna be sunday to monday damn it i hate workin weekends now. HAVE FUN EVERYBODY.
  23. I was there from the beginning hearing some dj play hip hop adn stuff. I dont like hip hop nor did i understand the point of what he was doing but it sounded good. And im sure theres an auience fot that GENRE. Anyhow deepdish were great, i loved every min of it until the last track. I never like the "LETS GET ILL" song and hearing it was like HOLY SHIT not this crap. I didnt stay for the signing hearing them was enough besides i was hungry.
  24. yeah the LIVE@ ROXY CD was great, when is this one coming out. I bought the deep dish one today, but havent finished hearing it. By the way icant stop hearing FABIO KING - SPECIAL LOVER (SPECIAL LOVE MIX). Just thought i would mention that.
  25. WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED. I GOT THERE WITH SOME FRIENDS AROUND 10PM AND IT WASNT PACKED AND IT WAS ONLY HIP HOP AND CLOSED AT 1130PM WHAT THE HELL.
