  1. saeed and palash are a much better duo. These guys know how to incorporate the essence of house music into their sets without sounding cheezy. You can't go wrong with tribal and progressive. Deep dish is good-their set at wmc was insane, but sometimes they can be loungy. Sasha sucks and I've haven' t heard digweed yet.
  2. I did not go to glow last night because acosta was spinning. I have heard acosta spin before and he is the definition of CHEEZY trance-no bass-just annoying noise. After a while, you just end up with a headache. I would rather stay home and listen to CDs. I used to like trance music, but thanks to acosta, I now listen to house. Why can't Glow get more progressive house DJs-why does it has to be trance all the time.
  3. hell yes!!! Friday night is Paul Van Dyk and Saturday is Deep Dish at Club Space. Here the Club Space line up Tues- Danny Tenaglia Weds- Paul Okenfold and Tiesto Thurs.- Sasha/Digweed/Nick Warren/ Dave Seaman Fri- Paul Van Dyk Sat-Deep Dish See you there
  4. Visiting San Francisco Thursday with a bunch of my girlfriends. Need to know where to go clubbing on Thursday night? WE LOVE HOUSE MUSIC-especially tribal and progressive house (ex. Deep Dish, Saeed and Palash, Anthony Pappa, Danny Tenaglia). We also need names of venue and location. Thanks for any suggestions.
  5. It has taken me 3 days to recover from NYE. This is my 1st NYE in New York and I have to say it was an amazing night. Saeed and Palash delivered a great night for all house music lovers. Saeed started the night with some great pounding, funky, deep, dark, and tribalish house, but I have to say, it was Palash that took the house down. Palash played a perfect mix of progressive house that was deep, dark and absolutely NASTY. When you think it can't get any better, Palash would drop a dope bassline, and the whole place would go insane. Every track that he played was phenomenal and massive. His set was absolutely flawless. It was definitely the best that I have heard them play EVER. The energy, crowd and the vibe at ARC was perfect. People who go to ARC knows music. New York was definitely worth the trip thanks to Saeed and Palash. Thanks for such a great night!!! Hightlight of the night: Palash's heartpounding set. I loved it so much, I lost my voice and have major corns on my feet. I didn't even go to the bathroom in fear that I would miss the next track. Lowpoint of the night: Saeed and Palash started late at around 3 or 4am. I got there early at 1am...so by 7:30am, by pinky toe was about the fall off, and my corns were about to bleed, and Palash was only half way thru with his set. So, I couldn't stay and listen to his whole set. BUMMER!!! Next time babe!!! LOVE YOU GUYS!!! #1 DJS-You're the best.
  6. You guys should have gone to ARC. Saeed and Palash were off the hook. The music was phenomenal-the best progressive and tribal I have ever heard. There was free champagne all night-but best of all-the music was insane. All for $40!!!!
  7. The underground music scene in dc sucks now that buzz is gone. You have FIVE-which plays cheezy loungy house and GLOW on saturdays-which has cheezy trance-unless someone is headlining like PVD or Dfuse. But dc is great if you like lounges, bars and top 40 dance clubs. Just got back from NYC for NYE and loved it!!! It's worth a road trip if you want some intense clubbing-and good house music.
