  1. BIG CONGRATS TO OSCAR G. ...U R DA MAN...YOUVE BEEN ROCKING FOR YEARS, AND LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING U ROCK FOR MANY MORE. #1 RESIDENT D.J. & DEFINITELY ONE OF THE #1 GOLBAL HOUSE D.J.'S.
  2. dear andrew, I appreciate your amazingly intelligent remarks and insults, but if i recall, the only pussy here is you. you are the one that almost got kicked out of the space patio a couple of weeks ago for walking around with a bag strapped around you full of flyers. why dont you try having some fuckin class and not doing shit like that. I dont think you wanna get people who let you in free in trouble for sticking up for your dumb ass. and by the way, i dont really care for pvd, oakenfold, tiesto, or any of those trance d.j.'s, but u cant argue that they are some of the biggest d.j.'s from a global standpoint. I have to disagree with you that sasha and digweed are boring. and like i said, im sure u will be at space 34 every saturday anyway. it is the best club in town (hands down).
  3. i would have to say the best d.j. sets i heard during w.m.c. were: 1.Danny Tenaglia & Oscar G. (opening night of Space 34) 2.Sander Kleinberg (Space Terrace) 3.every d.j. at the Space 34 closing party on sunday. 4.Roger S. at Maze 5.Edgar V. opening for PVD (playing purely house)
  4. here we go again...andrew thomas trying to be a bad ass once again. it is funny to me how u can come out and say that u were bombing space with flyers to your party, which im sure was a huge success. ...i heard rolands set was really good. (maybe if he wouldve played, cause he was definitely the best d.j. on your all-star roster). but i think roland is a little too busy playing at a slightly better party at SPACE 34, to be playing at your awesome w.m.c. bash. I dont know why u always seem to choose space as your choice of venue to bash and criticize. Space has proven over the last 3 years to be one of the best clubs in the country, if not the world. For you to have the nerve to say that Maze had a better lineup than Space 34 is absurd, and i think anyone and everyone on this board would agree. Let's see: Danny Tenaglia Oscar G. Tiesto Oakenfold Piccotto Sasha & Digweed Sander Kleinberg Steve Lawler Paul Van Dyk Edgar V. Deep Dish Danny Howells thats only naming some of the roster. And to have a closing party featuring: Danny Howells Oscar G. Sasha Sharam (Deep Dish) I would say that is quite the ending party. Your comments are usually quite ridiculous, and the funniest thing of all, is that i bet u are probably at space every saturday dancing your ass off having a great time. To Louis Puig...thank you for creating a place where we can all go and enjoy great music in a great venue...You did it at the old space and u have already begun to do it at Space 34...you have a wonderful all around staff who works very hard, and is very friendly, and you definitely have the best resident d.j. in the country in Oscar G., who by the way is nominated for best U.S. resident d.j. at the las vegas awards. SPACE = GREAT MEMORIES...(hopefully one more night there to close it down the right way) SPACE 34 = for another 3 years.
  5. 1.my first choice would have to be danny tenaglia and oscar g. playing in the main room on the first night that Space 34 opened. It was a definitely a night to remember.First night for space 34 and two of the greatest d.j.'s in the world playing on their opening night. 2.I would have to say that second would definitely be the last party that space had, which was on sunday from the morning hours til' the early evening...a lineup of (in order):danny howells, oscar g., sasha, and sharam from deep dish...that is just a dream lineup...it was pooring rain for a while out there on the patio, but it just made the party more memorable...and the fact that all four of them played for absolutely free showed, in my opinion, how those d.j.'s appreciate space and the new space 34. It is a great place where apparently d.j.'s love to play. 3.Roger S. at Maze was simply unbelievable...great sound and great lights...only thing kind of wack is the dance floor being split in two parts. i would have to say that my two most pleasant surprises were sander kleinberg on the terrace at space 34, and the straight up house set edgar v. played opening for PVD.
  6. the MURK boys (Oscar G. & Ralph Falcon) are arguably the best dance production duo of the last decade...under a lot of different group names, there are many things they have done that peole probably dont even know is them..."funky green dogs", "liberty city", just to name a few...as far as original production and remix work, the murk boys would definitely have to be my pick...aside from them i would have to say masters at work a long time ago, and i also think deep dish has been a very good production team for a while now.
  7. how about getting the other 1\2 of MURK...havin ralph falcon in there on fridays would be great. like that we could have ralph falcon on fridays at maze, and Oscar G. on saturdays at space.
  8. OSCAR G. will be playing in Portugal this weekend, so he will not be at space. He will be playing the night of Danny Tenaglia during W.M.C. and he will be back to his saturdays after that. no OSCAR G. at SPACE =

    Roland

got to space like at 3 a.m., and walked into the main room. Oscar G. was on the decks...nuff said...next thing i know it was 7:30 in the morning and i was still in the main room in amazement of this guys ability to carry that crowd on his shoulders, and swing them back and forth non-stop for such a long period of time...u walk in there and before you know it you've been in the main roon for hours already...that mix of dark beat with the girl moaning is off the f----- chain.
  10. OSCAR G. STEVE LAWLER SASHA & DIGWEED
  11. definitely going to SPACE tonight...they got resident OSCAR G. playing all night in his room, from 2 til' the wee hours of the morning...definitely gonna be there for that musical ride.
  12. D.J. 's: 1.OSCAR G. 2.Stryke 3.Ivano Bellini 4.Jimmy T. 5.The Pimp with da limp PRODUCERS: 1.MURK (Oscar G. & Ralph Falcon)...there is no competition here...these guys have been pumping out house classics since the early 90's...(like 4 0r 5 billboard #1 songs in the last 6 months). not including all the previous #1 hits in the past. 2.Robby Rivera 3.Southside 4.George Acosta...(dont like trance, but the list of good and successful producers in miami is short). 5. ??? 5.???
  13. im really hoping that space will open on the weekend of the 7th. being that OSCAR G. will be in portugal the weekend of the 14th. How unfitting would it be to open the new space 34 without the music orchestrator and turntable lord of the main room. I really hope it opens for the 7th or 8th. OSCAR G. + SPACE 34 = every saturday.
  14. WISHING U NOTHING BUT THE BEST ON YOUR B-DAY. KNOWN U FOR MANY YEARS, AND ALL I CAN SAY IS U R ONE HELL OF A GOOD FRIEND. U R THE 4TH BROTHER IN THE FAMILY. HAPPY B-DAY BUDDY. XOXOXO...
  15. hands down...OSCAR G. is the best d.j. . this guy rocks the main room at space every saturday. i have never seen a resident d.j. that is so consistant week in and week out. he knows how to take that crowd he has built over the last couple of years on a musical journey every saturday night for housesessions. cant wait for space 34 and o.g. rockin the new club. p.s. - steve lawler and danny howells are up there as well.
  16. this topic is getting a bit redundant by now. the bottom line is that roly is a good d.j., and he does a good job with the lunar sessions. but the bottom line here is that ivano bellini has been doing the sunrise sessions for quite some time now, and it never seems to change. the patio is always packed, and people seem like they are having a great time with the music ivano bellini is playing. There is nothing wrong with playing hits. thats why they are hits, cause people wanna hear the hits. i think ivanno, as well as roland, are both good d.j.'s, and they are both very good at what they do, so if the lunar sessions have been doing well, why alter things. we all know that the sunrise sessions with ivanno has done extremely well for a while now, so why try to fix what is not broken. besides, the cp members probably make up about 2% of the crowd that goes to hear ivano bellini, so i would say that u guys r in the minority, when it comes to judging what people like to hear out there on the patio on sunday mornings. there's no arguing success, and the sunrise sessions have been nothing short of extremely successful.
  17. i just wanna say that saturday at space was a great night. space is definitely at its best when they have resident oscar g. playing all night in the blue room. it is amazing how noone knows how to take that room on a journey like he does. from the moment he steps up to the decks til the moment he steps off, its like one long continuous ride of non-stop thumping drums and beats. i have been listening to oscar g. since the early 90's, and every club i've been to where he is playing is always an awesome night. i really feel that space is at its best when the lord of the blue room is at the helm. i am anxiously awaiting the opening of the new space, and the continuation of saturdays housesessions with o.g. in the main room, but at the same time, i find myself sad that the original space is coming to an end. On to space 34 and some more legendary nights by the murk man.

    Miami Scene

saturday nights at space are definitely the place to be. oscar g. in the blue room is by far the best night in town. the best music in the best venue in town. and coming soon, the housesessions will move to a new venue...space 34, which is sure to be even better.
  19. once again, andrewthomas is coming out with his statements. dude, u r passing judgement on someone u dont even know. u r basing your criticism on a magazine interview, and a facial expression. dont be so shallow, and try knowing someone a little better before u judge them. and being that u can get a gig so easily down here, like u say with all your connections, why dont u get one so u can save up your three grand and move to new york already, being that its so much better than here. miami is at the top of the totem pole as far as club life is concerned right now, and with the new space opening up, it will only get better. cant wait for housesessions with oscar g. in the new club.
  20. andrew thomas... u sound like one serious idiot to me. your replies to everything are always negative towards miami, and anything that has to do with it. u r always bashing the clubs here, along with the people and the entire scene for that matter. if new york is so good, then 95 north brother. u have all the signs of a frustrated d.j. who cant get a legitimate gig anywhere, including miami, which in your eyes sucks. i would hope that instead of constantly bashing our scene all the time, which is probably one of the best right now, that u would just go out and try to enjoy yourself, being that we have all of the worlds biggest d.j.'s being booked down here constantly, along with local d.j.'s that hold a lot of global recognition as well, like oscar g. who plays at one of the best clubs in the country right now, and also people like george acosta, who me myself do not enjoy listening to, but he also has a lot of global recognition. im just saying, try to be a little more positive man, and maybe you will enjoy life a little more. :aright:
