  1. Tiesto - Me too! I've seen Tiesto in NYC, Amsterdam, and Miami and have never been turned away. Talk about a disappointment. Can't believe he didn't keep his own door I'm new to the area, but have been to Avaland a few times - Morillo (okay if you like 5 minutes of progressive for every 2 minutes of beats, 120 bpm to boot) and some Brazilian Djs (rocked). Tonight its Sandra Collins: http://www.thedjlist.com/djs/SANDRA_COLLINS/ http://www.avalonhollywood.com/club.html There's this other party that sounds interesting, Bootie LA, 3rd Anniversary Pirate Party http://losangeles.metromix.com/bars-and-clubs/dj/bootie-l-a-3rd-echo-park/412121/content That's all I got, I rely on the Internet b/c nobody in this community posts, wtf! I could always check the Miami boards to get the inside skinny - come on ppl...
  2. Usually I stumble two blocks from my apt. in NYC to see JP at Pacha. The attitude and energy feel different in Miami, however my vote is still with JP for Saturday. Any detractors? At Pacha, circa Sound Factory, the party usually doesn't get going until 5. But what of this place at the Hard Rock - Gryphon? Never heard of it...any help, please? Dress Code? Crowd? Closing Time? I'm hoping (er...praying) JP brings his own door, a regular following, and a Miami flavor to his NY Beats...so we can all transition from da dance floor to da beach
