    i've now got to ask you for some more info so i can help you out more effectively:

    as for where to stay, there's lots of good options. are you looking to drop serious cash on a room or do it a bit more budget?

    what style(s) of music and/or dj's are you into? do you like big mega-clubs (ie crobar, etc) or smaller venues (cielo, etc), or bars?

    what days of the week will you be out?

    Santa is on the move.

    1. Park at Union Station parking garage

    2. Go into Union Station and buy a Metro Day Pass

    3. Meet at Phillipe The Original at noon

    4. Eat Lunch

    5. Depart from Philipe to Union Station at 1:00

    6. Boarding train.

    7. Miscellaneous red menace activities, information provided on need-to-know basis.

    WHAT TO BRING:

    * A Santa suit held together with zip ties and sticky remains of last year’s beverages and bodily fluids. (NOT just a santa hat.)

    * CASH for drinks, bribes and tips (TIP YOUR BARTENDERS. Santa tips well.)

    * An unmarked drinking vessel for beverages to supplement bar drinks

    * Santafication tools (to make others into Santas).

    * A ball

    * Toys/gifts (Naughty and Nice)

    * Mistletoe

    * Niblets (optional)

    * Lube and condoms (elf size too if you’re into that sort of thing)

    * Sex toys

    * The Baby Jesus

    * Comfortable shoes - because Rudolph will become too drunk to cart your sorry ass around.

    * Warm clothes - Santa goes all night long

    TIP YOUR BARTENDERS

    Be jowly.

    i know ken is djing these days but i haven't heard of any west coast bookings. i'd love to see it happen! in the meantime, do you know of lawnchair generals? very similar in vibe and style. they actually remix each other's stuff all the time. we even had east coast boogiemen and lawnchair generals on 4 turntables spinning together at our wmc party in 2003. it was rediculous!!! well anyway, lawnchair generals are at king king this saturday. you should come. it's gonna be amazing i promise!! here's a link to the lawnchair generals myspace page for music and more info - http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=14497031
