yep yep!! this one's gonna go off! focus brings it right! can't say enough good stuff about this party! great bookings (look at the line up, oh and they've got olivier desment this week too! i'll be there) make sure to get your tix pre-sale and make sure to get there early. the place will be packed and will sell out. i haven't seen derrick in such an intimate setting in many, many years. and they've got my favorite local dj these days as one of their residents - wobs!! jose (nonfiction) is awesome as well!

yes, but let's get back to yesterday's topic...

not the same soul, but he's a damn good dj and a really nice person!

i'm spinning at pocket on march 27th. actually the line up for the next month is really amazing! i'm guessing most of the peeps on here won't know the dj's, but trust me these guys are amazing! really great underground house dj's and producers. jay west is on fire right now, mes is really tearing it up with his guesthouse label, the guy i'm spinning with, rick preston, is one of my dear friends and one of my main inspriations for dj'ing. and then rounding it out are two locals that are amazing, jordan and chris goodvibe, aka dj soul. pocket is a really fun party with a great crowd and it's free before 11, only 5 bucks afterwards. come hang out, have a beer, meet some friendly new peeps and hear some booty shakin' house!

this is an interesting one. i used to be a real stickler for punctuality. to the point that i'd call out my friends on it. i realized i was fighting a losing and sometimes pointless battle. people are going to be who they are and it's not really for me to change them. i either accept them or don't. i've adjusted to being punctual with those friends that are as well, and much more loose being punctual with those that i know are more loose with their own punctuality. for business i'm always on point though. i am not a fan of people wasting my time when i'm working and i give that same respect.

you will not be sorry. i promise. great house music, great peeps, and you'll likely run into both me and badiye (imad). if you come out on friday, you'd better be wearing green, or you'll get pinched! (well you just might get pinched anyway, but i bet you'll like it!)

it's true. i've saved v/m's from friends that sang me happy b-day. i had to re-save one again just yesterday. it' been saved since last july 3rd!

i know weyes!! maybe we should have a clubplanet meet up one night at my sidecar event. we've got julius papp playing tonight. we'll have to pick a night that i don't run against imad's (badiye) good life party! that way he can be there too! which reminds me, imad you'd better be at sidecar tonight!! get a babysitter!! oh and are we still on for lunch tomorrow?

well it really shouldn't take too much to convince someone to go. i know soooo many la peeps that are going this year. it's kinda crazy really. i haven't known this many la folks that are heading there in about 5 years. it's gonna be a great time this year! i'm sure next year will be too. i have several friends saving already for wmc '08!
