Im from NYC, and Im driving down to Miami with my boy to WMC. We're going to get there in time for Ultrafest and all the good stuff. We're looking for a 3rd person who would be willing to drive down to Florida with us. Not lie, 3 people going to Florida is cheaper that 2 people splitting the whole trip....It would only be about $50 bucks to go , and $50 bucks to come back if the trip is split 3 ways. (Gas and Tolls) If it's 4 people going, hell, even cheaper. We're getting an apartment for $40 a night on collins, but a little up in Miami Beach, not right in the heart of South Beach, but like 5 minutes away. Dude, no offense, but if you couldnt tell that these people were pigs, then you must be from another planet or have some serious problems with your eyes and you need to get them checked out. When you see this one beared guy in there, dancing like he's never danced in life before, talking to other people who were walking around with little fanny packs and mini bookbags, and he was wearing a plaid shirt that he looks like he bought it from either an army/navy shop, or MODELLS....you tell me what you would think he was. Trust me, for all the people who dont know how to spot out and undercover, not to say that IM a pro by any means, but there were plenty of undercovers in Avalon Saturday, and IM sure there's plenty of people who will back me up on this one.

What was up with Sandra Spinning Hey Yaaa from Outkast tho at the end of the night. It was supposed to be her last track, but the fans demanded more, so she played some remix of "Yet Another Day" I never heard before. But seriously, not that I minded it at all, I thought it was actually pretty cool she played that, but damn, Im just curious what made her play it tho. I heard some guy say that Sandra had to be drunk.

Yea dude, the music has been off the hook in that place. They are bringing in really good dj's, and from the rocky start that place may have had and their door policy, it looks like that place is doing things the right way, its an enjoyable club, the people are off the hook, and the music has been just incredible. I have to say, Avalon has to be probably one of the most consistent clubs in NYC right now that you know your going to go there listen to good music, and the place is going to be packed night in and night out without any bullshit about DJ's leaving, this place closing, changing names, etc..... I guess we'll know because Im going this coming weekend, and if I see the same faces again, and they see me, and follow me again, then I know something is defeinately up.

Basically, I wanted to know if anyone else who went to AVALON this past Saturday noticed what I noticed. Basically, a shit load of undercovers. Now I know that undercover cops in NYC clubs aren't that big of a deal really, but I've been going to Avalon practically every Saturday and most Fridays for the past month since Josh Wink spun there, and I not once, untill this past Saturday, have not just one person ask me, but like 6 different people who were obviously not your typical clubber, ask me for E, or if I knew someone who had E. And I saw at least, about 15-20 people in there that for sure, you could tell they were undercover cops, and there was probably more in there too. The vibe has been mad cool, everyone in there isnt usually a stuck up snob and I've met sooo many just down to earth people, who enjoy great fkn music which Avalon has been providing from my eyes and ears. But honestly, for people who've been going there a little longer than I have, is it a common thing for Avalon to be crawling with undercover pigs. Im saying, it was kinda rediculous. The fkd up part is that they must have thought that I was selling or something because I knew who they were, and them bastards were following me around the whole fkn night. Some guy gets on stage, followed by like some old men who dont belong in avalon, who were trying to dance, and sits next to me, starts asking me questions to get cool with me, then out of nowhere, asks me if I got E or do that shit....Of course I said hellzzz no, but then still asks me personal shit. When he realized he wasnt getting shit out of me, he gets up, and starts talkin to my boy who was ravin wit his glowsticks, and then some fkn wanna be drag queen sits back down, and asks me the same shit, while the big diesel dudes who followed the other guy, are just watching me to see what I say. It was basically fucked up, killed the vibe for me, and killed the fkn great night I was having. Basically, if this is going to be the case with Avalon now, I hate to say it, but it's days are basically numbered because a cop is going to catch some dumb fuck either selling or trying to buy, and under the new Rave Act, the owner of this place is going to get hit hard in the pockets, and NYC is going to do the usual as its done to other spots, shut this place down for a few. So basically again, is this a common thing in there with undercovers crawling around that place like fkn ants?
