Next Friday Junior will be playing at Asbury Park N,J proving he shows up.He was a no-show in ft.lauderdale.

  2. This was taken from this week's HX magazine:

Limelight is going to be reborn-again! yes,all mentions of the Estate moniker will be scraped from the club when it reopens in the fall. The new name being touted for the infamous church-turned-club is AVALON,with the opening set for the latter half of September.

No one in the Crobar camp is making any commitments when it comes to announcing a date for the 28th street space's opening.(perhaps they learned their lesson the first time when it was reported the space would open in June of 2002!) Rumor now has the doors opening around Columbus Day.

Spirit nightclub is shooting for an October opening in the old Soundfactory/Twilo space-but it won't be a typical nightclub."We're not a DJ-led club," says Spirit's Robbie Wooton."It's more about the show."Spirit will be a triple-tiered theatrical space encompassing elaborate visuals, holistic healing rooms and an organic foods restaurant.

Any other suggestions for a big club that is nice, with cheesy music ?

What's happening at Sound Factory this Saturday? They probably can't stay too late for the real experience, but I'm wondering if enough people will come in the early hours (like before 1 am), that it will be ok. Anyone know?

I'd like Arc, but the decor might be a bit plain, and I'm not sure if they could handle the music, and they probably can't stay out too late. They're not heavy drinkers, but having alcohol as an option would be nice too.

Centro-Fly is a possibility, but I'm wondering if it's big enough for their liking.

    Maybe Webster Hall?

Or is there some other place to check out?

Here's the deal, this coming weekend is GAY PRIDE,which means alot of bars and club will be packed. As for SoundFactory, that will be cool, whats not cool is getting there before 1am,place is dead, get there around 4am or after. You also might want to try Webster Hall.I strongly suggest that you get the Time Out New York magazine, this weekend will be crazy,GayPride.

after all they are the ones who have to live in that mess afterwards...

yep yep, totally agree.Remember the Rodney Kings riots.after tearing up the neighborhood, about a week later mail delivery was back to normal, peeps receiving there checks, but there was one slight problem, the ASSHOLES burned down the check cashing place.sad but funny also.

Well than what did he think the motorcycle was...a toy??? Absoulutely insane. Probably would have made a difference if the cop was black in my opinon

Are they serious, suppose that guy would have hit and killed someone in the street, then what.Jesus christ! what is wrong with these people, that religous leader should shut the fuck up!cop was DOING HIS JOB!!

By the way I love your sig, lmaof!

that sucks, sunday better be nice, plan on bike riding all day sunday in central park.

  9. Ok,let me get this straight,a 28 year old blackmale riding on his motorcycle at a 100 mph,a cop chases him,who is white.the motorist crashes into a vacant building and dies. Now blacks have rioted for 2 days destroying 10 homes.a relative of the motorist says the cop did'nt have to chase him, should have waited until he stopped or gone home and then arrested him,is he fucking out of his mind,oh yeah right, the cop decides oh hell let him go,take the license plate number down and wait 1/2 hour until he gets to his destination. Now the community are screaming racist....the cop was doing his job, regardless of his/her race, that motorist could have hurt or killed someone at that speed.Would things would have been different if the cop was Black?
