  1. I wana see some talent that has not been to Miami.

There are some Swiss DJ's that rock and I would love to see them here live...

DJ MIND X - Still my fav hard bangin DJ

Mind X Is really good. when I was working with til late.com, since they are from Switzerland, we were talking about tring to bring him to Miami, but no club was interested in him or any Swiss DJ's, since it was the big move into Progressive and Tribal at the time in 2002/03.

Another thing that is cool that I am living up here in Ohio is seeing a whole new group of DJ'S and smaller clubs that bring back the true feeling intimacy of smaller venues and just plain quality music. The locals up in Detroit/ Toledo are still keeping it real without all the hype, it is refreshing.

I am most likley going to be moving again in the next 6 months out to Denver and will see another scean out there. Sasha just played in Denver Friday night.

  2. If you have never seen Terrence Parker, get a chance when he plays WMC

I don't get excited really excited after seeing so many DJ's and hearing so many sets over the years, But....

on Friday I had the chance to se Terrence Parker for the first time and he took me a on a journey of music that was rare. I am not a trackspotter but it was a great set of House and Techno with many other sub genres thrown in. He had everyone till 3: 30am, which is late for here.

If you get a chance to see him , dont miss out.

Terrence Parker has established himself as a producer, remixer and DJ of the classic sound of House Music instead to Techno. As of January 2002, Terrence Parker has performed as a DJ in more than 100 cities throughout the world. He currently holds several resident DJ positions in several clubs including Dockland Club in Muenster Germany, System Sound Bar in Toronto Canada, Club Spiral in Lansing Michigan, and Rotation in Iowa City Iowa. Since 1988, he has released more than 100 recordings, and had top 20 hits in the U.K., The Netherlands, Germany, and France.

Also, here why he is known and the "Telephone Man"

Parker also stands out in the DJ booth for his use of a telephone receiver as a headphone, an idea borrowed from an earlier generation of DJs. The telephone is in some ways his mascot, but it serves a practical purpose as well.

"I used to use traditional headphones, but because I get very animated when I spin, I used to go through them too quickly. I don't think I ever had a pair of regular headphones that lasted more than six months. The telephone is so durable -- the one I have now I've had for close to 14 years. I haven't met a DJ yet who's had a pair of headphones as long as I've had my phone. It's also a lot louder than normal headphones. Usually, the DJ before me will have the headphone gain cranked, and when I come on I'll turn it right down. You just have to be careful not to hurt your ears with it."
