experience or experiment? still kinda funny.:D

with alll the talk about money lately, If 2 of the best clubs in SoBe ( Maze and Nerve) can't make money who can. I guess you have to find the right mix between bringing the educated music people and the trendy crowd to bring in the $$$. Its a balancing act.

  2. Well, this has happned before kinda. My freshman year of college there was fraternity at my college that shipped a pledge UPS to another school like 4 states away. The big box didn't make the whole trip, it made it to the national sorting center in Lousville.. Oh well it was worth a try and a good laugh.

  3. Something like this just happened last week to one of the guys at my work.. He got a phone call in the middle of the night and didn't pick it up, but when he checked his message the next day it was a 2 min message from some woman saying she needed to buy some more weed, but this time it better be higher quality. She was calling for some guy named Pooky and she was super ghetto sounding, but also super pissed at him and was using ever curse word possible. I will try and get a copy of it Tuesday and throw it on a sever. It is a good laugh.

Dan doesn't do reviews for us. If he did we could kiss goodbye to any advertising from clubs other than Nerve and Space34 ;)

I am requesting that Dan and Saleen do a review of Mynt on their reopening.

  5. Well I saw him on Sat, and he was out promoting NV. The flyers he had , had his name on them as the promoter and Ivano as the DJ. He also had Club NV VIP cards, so if you know him maybe hit him up for one if you are industry.

  6. Dammmit! I can only be in one place at a time. Now i have to decide what to do Friday since my freind will be in town visitng. Was going to hit Ft. Laudy on Fri and Sobe on Sat, but this F#&CK it all up. If it is going to be CP meet up i just might have to make it to Crobar.

POD, I think all of south Florida seems to be one of the last big cities in the country with wireless access point and co-ops. We should be able to go the beach with our laptops or go to clubbin with it.

  8. FYI

Well the place is a a great setup with a good location. A new club is opening this weekend at the former Spin.

    Now called "Three Twenty"

    at 320 Lincoln Rd.

on Saturday night they are goign to have House, Classics, and Latin Beats, and then Hip Hop it the other room.

Will it work out? who knows, we will see in 3 months.

  9. I don't think there is a bad time to come down here. There is more to do here on the worst nights than in most places. As time goes on through winter it will be getting busier, the season will kick in and the hotel prices will climb, and coolling off a little, but it is still always warm.

I think the best time to come is just when you can, right now during September there seems to be allot going on with qaulity music at many places like Crobar, Nerve, Life, Luna, Jazid, and Space34.
