Mac's are for people who want "easy", most people are scared of the unknown. Alienware makes 3ghz laptops, Mmmm at risk of exposing my geekdom, loved the os joke

I like the VAIO's, but if you ever need support... good luck, one of the worst in the industry. I'm curious how the performance on the new mac's will be. Knowing IBM, and their latest PPC lines of processors, should be interesting. IT doesn't really matter anyway, when people ask me what to buy (i.e. 1st computer) I tell them to basically look for JUST above the cheapest one sold. Most people don't use what they have. Find your features, and even a celeron proc will be fine for most folks. (internet, email, word, printing, burning) ... my 2 cents worth...
