Strange though, Apple makes almost no mention that IBM makes their G5 processor.

I'm curious how the performance on the new mac's will be. Knowing IBM, and their latest PPC lines of processors, should be interesting. IT doesn't really matter anyway, when people ask me what to buy (i.e. 1st computer) I tell them to basically look for JUST above the cheapest one sold. Most people don't use what they have. Find your features, and even a celeron proc will be fine for most folks. (internet, email, word, printing, burning)

in all fairness, both sets weren't the worst thing I have ever heard, but I wouldn't go that far.
