I have been disappointed with the 'standard' of a lot of international DJs. It's due to a number of things: The media hype, mixes done using Protools on CDs, generally having high expectations. A lot of dance music producers sell themselves off as DJs to be able to tour on the cheap as well. I empathise with the young talented DJs who find it hard to get a break.

The best mix IMO is Tony Senghore's Dirty Drug Vocal.

Hi Peeps, Just wondering what the house scene is like in LA? Here in Sydney, the sounds of Miguel Migs, Chris Lum, Jay - J, Mark Farina & the like are HUGE. So what'sthe house scene like in LA & are there many clubs playing above? Thanks in advance.

The scene in Sydney is quite healthy. Excellent local DJs & internationals always droppping in. People are friendly, so I'm sure you'll have a great time. November to April is summertime with lots of outdoor festivals, clubs & parties.
