  1. Crap... Paid holidays my ass. Im salaried, such a thing doesnt exist in my world. Although it is nice to know im not suffering alone.
  2. Im in a similar situation to the person above me. I co-own / run a site called BayRidgeNights.com which now has well over 2,000 members. So while technically you are "the competition" I will give you some pointers. Things I noticed that need repair: 1. When people browse your site at a HIGH resolution (Im viewing @ 1280 x 12024) your sites header image repeats accross the top of your site. 2. When viewing your site in Firefox (The second largest web browser in the world) your navigation bar underneath the header image is crap. You see a few letters of some links, and the full text for others. 3. Where it says "Party Pics" and "Hottest" in the middle of the cover page the text doesnt line up with the images (in IE and Firefox) 4. In Firefox the "Party Pics" and "Hottest" text is centered between these images where as in IE itws left justified. 5. You should add a "Register" link right next to the login boxes on the top of the screen. Thats where I expected them to be, not 6 lines down by the horizontal menu. 6. Polls dont seem to work in IE or Firefox. If you have poll voting for registered members only, then I suggest hiding the box completely from unregistered visitors. 7. Other than that, you really need to get some content in order. Some content Looks like its there, but when you click it says "We're sorry but there is no XXXXXXX that matched your search."
  3. Anyone else sitting in work today?

  8. November 16, 2004 -- VICTORIA Gotti's sons Carmine, 18, and John, 17, took a beating last weekend after they allegedly harassed a 15-year-old girl at a Long Island mall. The 17-year-old brother of the aggrieved girl delivered a beat-down to the Gotti boys after they "pinched her butt and made disgusting comments" at the Roosevelt Field Mall on Saturday, says our source. The enraged brother and two of his friends approached the Gottis and their 10-person crew after his sister complained about their boorish behavior. "Next thing you know this kid was really beating the c- -p out of Carmine," a witness to the melee told PAGE SIX. "All the Gotti friends were taking cheap shots, punching and kicking the back of this kid's head, but he didn't care. He just continued to beat Carmine till he was bloody, and then he went after John and whupped him, too. "He was in a zone, repeating, 'Not my sister. I don't care who you are.' And the Gottis' crew couldn't hold him back. The whole crowd of people was cheering, adults were coming up to the kid after the fight and congratulating him. He really showed those boys they aren't above the law." The Gotti brothers have appeared on their A&E show, "Growing Up Gotti," picking up girls at the mall. Mall security guards and police broke up the fracas, but no charges have been filed. Our source claimed that mall security had received "several complaints" about the Gottis' behavior prior to the fight from fed-up store owners and shoppers. "One security guard said they got a complaint from the mother of a 12-year-old girl the Gottis and their friends had harassed," another witness said. The youth who beat up the Gottis "was like 5-foot-10," not that big. Their grandfather [John Gotti] would be rolling over in his grave if he saw that. They not only fought like cowards, they're a bunch of wimps." Victoria Gotti told PAGE SIX's Fernando Gil the attack on her sons was an unprovoked act caused by sheer jealousy: "Carmine dated a girl he liked. Jealousy makes people do crazy things. This boy was no exception to the rule. It's unfortunate that boys can't talk out their differences." The father of the 17-year-old boy told us, "This is a private matter between our two families, and I hope that it gets resolved soon. It was an unfortunate incident."

  10. Seems like just about everyone was originally into rock which is awesome. I thought i'd be all by my lonesome in that cat. In all honesty I still prefer rock over EDM, but its all good. The EDM is growing on me more and more, but Rock will always be #1
  11. Im not sure... that was WAY to much to read.
  12. *ahem* the appropriate term is "fIEEEERRCCEE"
  13. I didnt say there is no corruption. All i said was the US was not involved in the Food for Oil program. Please read before you talk.
  14. That, I honestly couldnt say. Id like to think they are being run by Iraqi's but who knows. Even still, I dont believe the US had any involvment with the food for Oil scandle. Further more the US was selling Sadaam Missiles, and breaking the UN arms embargo either. That was Frances doing. As for someones dumb comment about the US playing the victum... Who said anything about being a victum? My point was dont expect us to play nice with France and Russia when they are acting just as shady as the they claim we are acting. Personally... My opinion is Fuck'em. Who needs France anyway? They havent made a viable contribution to the world at large since the 1800's.
  15. Actually, according to the Iraqi newspaper that broke the story the US had no involvment at all. In fact I dont think the US was part of the oil for food program to begin with. Plus it wasnt French and Russian companies making money on the scandle it was the contries governments and representitives. Please know what you are talking about before you open your mouth, and try to sound intellectual on the subject. "Nuff said".
  16. Sounds about right. Although Boris is no spring chicken himself.
  17. Thank you. Atleast everyone isnt stupid. The UN wouldnt enforce its own resolutions. 2 counntries on the UNs security council (France and Russia) where both involved with the Food for OIL scandle and where making MILLIONS off of it. As recently as 2002 France was selling missiles to Iraq, which broke the UN arms embargo as well... Fuck the UN. In theory the UN is a great idea, but it needs a massive overhaul and dirt bags need to be weeded out of it.
  18. Rock, all Rock. NYC Hardcore "Grunge" - Nirvana, Pearl Jam, etc "Metal" - Metallica, and Static X mostly Guns N Roses Stone Temple Pilots Plus the typical assortment of whatevers on KROCK like Green Day, Blink182, Cold (NOT COLD PLAY... THEY SUCK), etc What got me into EDM? Not a fucking clue. Growing up in Bay Ridge, I just associated EDM with Guidos, and then in College figured out there was more than KTU crap. Im mostly into House, but lately I've found I like the sound of Vocal Trance.
  19. I thought Id' start up a thread listing some GOOD and FREE streaming music sites. www.Live365.com - Thousands of channels of all music types. www.di.fm - Digitaly imported - Severl Channels of overseas electronic music (Trance, house, etc)
