i normally wouldn't come down for this, but since it's DT's farewell to space, i am goin'. the only other times i have seen danny are at wmc the past three years and the parties have always been outta control.

i'm all for the parties, but it's misleading to state that oct 11 is the last day, put out flyers that say "closing party" and then decide that you want to turn it into a "series" of parties instead. i live a few hours away and have been a patron since they have been open. i would like to attend the last night they are open but i gotta plan ahead due to work, so i wish they would quit dragging it out or just shut up and stay open.

both are very vocal, both are annoying (yet most of us still wanna read their posts!) both have massive egos, and lately they both said they were going away and then fvckin' disappointed us and came back!!!!

just got the email and they are officially referring to the on-going saga as a "closing party series" wtf?? there should only be ONE closing party (like they had for the old venue) i wonder how many parts they will have to this series....maybe seven in honor of the world series.

not a huge fan of either team, but miami has been looking WEAK...however, i'm sure both teams will rise to the occasion and deliver a competitive game as they almost always have in the past.

saleen told you weeks ago that DT would be closing down space? that's amazing, esp. since DT said he decided to take the gig a few DAYS ago.

man, that 1st pic brings back some sweet memories...seems like an eternity ago. reminds me of the time when E! entertainment did a little segment on space and they shot video out on the patio. i have that on vhs somewhere...

i will miss space dearly. i made the four hour journey MANY times just to have my moments in space. i'm sure everyone has their favorite memory or room they enjoyed. for me, nothing will ever beat the great times i enjoyed on the old patio. i will never forget the time my friend first mentioned that a new night club was opening in downtown and sasha would be spinning there for wmc instead of a club on the beach. i know it's a sad time for many of you (myself included) but unfortunately the only thing guaranteed in life is change and in the end the only thing you can hold onto is memories. i will find a way to get out of work somehow so i can come down there one last time and enjoy my last few moments in space.

apparently the owner is voluntarily closing down because he feels that his club is being targeted by local authorities for illegal drug use in the club, etc. this sucks big for miami because space brought the best world wide talent to miami. hopefully some other clubs will pick up the slack.

i am sure some of you already know...space is closing its doors for eva' .....plenty of links/info on the miami board. all you ny boys & girls book your tickets for the final farewell. the closing party will be outta control....
