been throwin' down for the last 10 years now and i got to thinkin'.... when the f**k am i gonna stop this?! not that i want to, but sooner or later i will have to. so let's get some opinions..at what age do you see yourselves slowin' it down? i'm guessing that i'll be "hanging up the cleats" by 40. let's face it, nobody wants to be that old guy/ girl in the club. for the record, i am 30.

depending on who is spinning, icon is a pretty decent club. they have brought in the best talent over the past year or two. digweed, nick warren, danny howells, lee burridge, pvd have all had gigs there. the social is the other club in orlando that's worth checking out. both clubs are in downtown, away from mickeyville. if you want to see an amazing venue, go check out the groove at city walk. it's a shame they haven't brought in any top-notch talent in years. keep in mind the clubs in orlando are minor league compared to miami, but have fun anyway.

speaking of dark beat...does anyone here know where i can pick up the track on cd? yeah i know it's an old track and played out, but me still likes it!

just bring the f**kin' patio back, i can live without the rest.

maybe they can't replicate the feel, but i still think the old venue has potential. again, part of my problem with space34 is the size. anyway, so i guess nobody can confirm the rumors just yet about who will occupy the old venue and when it might open, so we'll just have to wait and see!!

@ pod. the new venue is way too big, imo. hopefully they've made improvements since my last time there, but i have a feeling it's not ever gonna be the same.

i have heard rumors that someone has bought/will buy the old space venue and was trying to confirm. i drop into miami every now and then and was REALLY yearning for that old space vibe (i'm sure most of you know what i'm talkin' about! out on the patio at daybreak was truly special!) space34 has been a disappointment the few times i have been. any news would be appreciated. ---peace
