like most chicks on here, I carry a huge bag during the week to haul around all my shit for work, but i LOVE my big bag, it holds everything~~~i certainly justified the price tag for it by using it every day.....wallet and coin purse, sunglasses case, makeup bag, advil, tampons, bills i need to pay, cell phone, altoids, and a multitude of other stuff that accumulates. For nights out, i downsize to one of the smaller bags and just carry essentials like money,1 credit card, keys, cell, and lip gloss.

dont forget your fresh fruits and veggies, they can be a quick meal as well. Or make a quick salad with some canned chicken breast meat~~the tyson pouch ones are actually really good. You can use fat free milk on cereal, too....it really tastes the same. Im trying to eat healthier as well....good luck!

Try the new Redken Butter Treat,or Redken Smooth Down~~both great products~~as for your flat iron problem, make sure you are rinsing all shampoo/conditioners/deep conditioners out well, they can cause your hair to smell. Also, if you have a relaxer or anti-curl treatment in your hair, the smell from the relaxing chemical can hang around for WEEKS, causing a nasty smell when ironing/blowdrying. Flat Irons really do a number on your hair. I wouldnt recommend ironing more than once a week, really, with a professional iron and a heat protecting serum like Redkens "Hot Tools", or better yet, go to the salon and have a pro do your blowdry/iron for you! It really pays to invest in a pro iron, too..........the Chi is just fantastic! -

why dont you scope out some drum and bass/jungle parties? Your friends might dig the MC aspect of that music.......

New Years Eve
The DJ team of Murk, Oscar G and Ralph Falcon, are frequent flyers on the New York to Miami run. For more than a decade the duo has been building a national reputation for DJing, producing and remixing.
Childhood friends from Miami, Oscar and Ralph have been working together since their teens, their influences include all the standard DJ heroes, “David Morales, Danny Tenaglia, Frankie Knuckles, Tony Humphries and Junior Vasquez,†says Oscar G, “were all a huge influence on us early on, and continue to be.†They started releasing records in 1991 on their own Murk Records label. Hits like Funky Green Dogs’ “Fired Up†led to remix work for mainstream stars like Madonna, Cher, Jennifer Lopez and Mary J. Blige.
Playing rooms from Miami to Ibiza to New York, Murk has built up a loyal following both together and separately. The pair literally own Miami, where Oscar G is a resident at Space and Ralph Falcon is a resident at Crobar. Now the pair is setting up shop at the New York version of Crobar one Friday a month.
Oscar says, “We’re eagerly looking forward to bringing the Miami flavor to New York City. Ralph and I have been looking for a home in New York for some time now and we can’t think of a better place than Crobar. We hope to build a special monthly event where we can expose New Yorkers to the hot and sexy Miami vibe.â€
The Big Apple could certainly use some of that vibe these days. “I think New York is in a re-building phase,†says Oscar. “After the days of Twilo, I think there was a bit of a void, but things seem to be picking up. New York has a rich history of house music so it will always be at the forefront.â€
Having a base in New York can be especially important for DJs like Oscar and Ralph, who find touring to be a larger part of the business. “Over the years, as more and more territories have become receptive to this music, touring has become a much bigger part of the equation,†says Oscar. “I’m always surprised at how receptive people are in places like El Salvador or Taiwan where you would never expect them to be.â€
Part of building a global fan base for touring is putting out CDs. The pair’s 2003 artist album, Murk (Tommy Boy), sent an impressive five singles to the top of the Billboard Dance charts. “We would like to get the Murk label up and running to where we have an outlet for our original material and we have total creative control over our music and how it is released and marketed. We want to concentrate more on our own material and continue to tour spreading the gospel of house,†Oscar says. “We have always written all our own stuff so it’s definitely a priority.
He adds, “This has become a very competitive business and you must bring something unique to the table in order to stand apart from the pack
Sobeton--we still going up for this?? :D

Bed has A/C and restroom problems or were you referring to the set at Nerve?
no frosty--i was talking about Nerve--which no longer exists---BED is a great place---its just kinda small for this party, IMO.

I have reservations at the days downtown for 59/night. Its not the one at the airport. I figure space and the ultra party isnt even on south beach. They're downtown. By the water but on the downtown side. You have to take a cab to these events if you are staying on south beach anyway, because you have to cross the causeways.
How are the wet grooves and radio 1 parties. R they located on south beach? Cabbing it will be a necessity either way and you aint gonna find a place on south beach for less than double the 59/ night. Its not worth it to me when I have a lot of costly partying ahead of me.
Let me know what you think of my those parties.

Days Inn downtown?? If you are talking about the days inn on NW 14th street, thats a highly UN-desirable area. Granted, its not far from downtown, but you will be sitting smack in the middle of the Jackson Mem hospital area, aka ugly town....i would suggest trying some of the hotels downtown on Biscayne, closer to Space, NV,Nocturnal, and Bayfront Park, where Ultra is being held. Theres a holiday inn and a howard johnsons there. At least youl be closer to the action, but the room may not be so hot. Also---i agree with you about the overinflated prices on the beach at this time of year -TOURIST TRAPS! And most beach hotels SUCK! Being a miamian, i cringe to hear what you guys pay for these rooms, but i guess you dont have much of a choice!

i was at this party, too, mr movement! Thats the most ive EVER danced at a small club like Nerve was-----i practically went straight to work after his set--lol---what an awesome night, despite the boiling heat and restroom probs---the set at bed should be awesome, but what is it gonna take to get in that place? BED is rather small--what are you planning to do???
what's in your bag?

LOL--WARNING--these are classic symptoms of the designer addict/whore! We make excuses for the tremendous $$ we spend on handbags, shoes, etc, by justifying that we"ll use it every day! JUst remember-----keep telling yourself you can stop at any time----- : LOL
