  1. you know the saying----

    'HOUSE IS A FEELING"

Halo"s set had me in the clouds last night! The guy was dropping some serious funk that had me locked in his groove for a good 2 hours! This is the kind of house that takes me to another level, and i must say the biggest suprise of the night for me was

SHELDON! Sheldon, Im your new fan, bro! Sheldon had me groovin thru his whole set.....im very impressed...i need more! NIce to see everyone who I dont need to name because bling and Phil have already named everyone, and thanks Jon Cowan for your hospitality and bringing in this great talent for us househeads! :D

  2. these books are a great look into the rise of clubbing in miami---great recommendation, Mimi.....a look into clubbing history for all u new jacks and rooks who werent around for 80"s and 90"s clubbing. As far as Chris P., I did actually meet the guy thru a friend who grew up with him in NY, but never got to know him. He was too much of a celeb for the lil clubber i was back then, but wow, who couldve known back then how infamous he would become???

the term Gringo...emerged in mexico...when they wanted the white man soldier out....GREEN - GO!

that's a lil bit of taco history.

Heres another twist on the "gringo" theory.....

The term emerged simply from the spanish word "griego" which means "greek" for you non spanish speakers out there.....and got melded into "gringo". In other words, the term is simply slang for calling someone who dosnt belong in your country " a greek" .....ever heard the phrase--"it"s all greek to me"?

    Help, I want answers!

    :jawdrop:

dont worry, spacious....im gonna get to the bottom of this!!!

  5. You guys must be kidding! Ivano MADE the patio what it is was today---although i would like to keep Roly"s lunar sessions, and i see the point in not reinventing the wheel....BUT....for me, the best nights/mornings @ Space were Ivano"s sets on the patio back in 2000-2002 @ the old Space. I think some of you guys will be pleasantly surprised to hear Ivanos Space style....and I personally cant wait to check it out!

    :D

  6. Im probly gonna be accused of listening to fluff "modern" rock but heres some of my favs---

  7. Greg---it says right on the flyer not including 4-17, which is Sander night. But hey, im sure colby or eddy or biz will be running their usual b4 1am guestlist, which is when you would want to be there by anyway, if you wanna catch SK"s mainroom set, OR make it a Sunday morning arrive @ 6:30 -7:00 am and catch the REAL sander magic-----the terrace!!!! BTW greg...where u been hiding? Havnt seen you out at all!

  8. All the hatin needs to stop! Stop letting 1 bad experience ruin great nights of music....Nice 1, Louis....SOME of us really appreciate the effort!

  9. I was there but cannot give a correct review due to the fact that I was TRASHED thanks to Sobeton"s xtra strong drinks! I think the bartender must have a crush on him!

Good hangin with my dance partners Tony and Miriam, and chill hangin with Ramon, Bruno, his wife,Chaflas, and i forgot who else.....Oh and Tony, btw, dont ever leave my drunk ass in the DJ booth alone AGAIN! (you know why)
