For those of you who were at Joey's last Friday, I wanted to provide some info on the singer that Amber brought on stage with her to sing "If You Could Read My Mind." She is an up and coming artist named Vanessa Conde and is also one of my artists. We completed a song called "Peace & Love" last spring that was set to be released during the summer. I think I figured out what happened. You forgot to log in under your name "clubgod" when you made your original post about me. It sure sounds like you have a problem with Sleep based on your latest remarks. I wouldn't leave my career for a nightclub if I spun 5 nights a week. Perhaps YOU should consider getting a day job because your future in this business doesn't look too good. You've upset a lot of influencial people in this industry and I'm sure it will catch up with you in the future when you are trying to find a new spot to promote. Unknown? I've been around for 8 years (Abyss, Joey’s, Poor Billy’s, Surf Club, D’Jais, Velocity, Hangar, Sleep, XL, Cell Block) and not once did I ever work directly for a promoter. All full nights on my own. Not a bad career for an “unknown.†At this point in my life, I could really care less if I am "known," as I have great career outside the music industry. I gave up trying to be a superstar years ago. Being known in NJ is a merely a product of promoter hype anyway. Where were you 6 years ago when I was playing 4 nights a week? I may be “unknown,†but I still had a guest list of 170 people for my record release party. Not bad considering I work 40-60 hours a week at my full time job. You guys have all day to promote and still can’t pack a room. As far as the remixes go, a high ranking executive at a record company once told me that if your record is not a hit in the NYC are than you are doing the right thing. There is a whole world out there beyond the NYC area. At least I get hired to do work. In this era of downloading what records are a hit? Maybe, you are the one that is nothing special. You should realize that as a promoter you should be trying to make friends, not piss off people like you do on a regular basis. Maybe you’ll get more of a crowd. Those who know me know how much I dislike promoters. Yes, I am taking your smart ass comments personally. I AM PISSED! I apologize to the staff and owners of Club Sleep for having this drama under a post about their club. I just feel that I shouldn’t have to take B.S from some second rate promoters. I would like to thank everyone who came to my record release party last night at Sleep. While we were celebrating at the club, my remix "Sammarco's Club Sleep Anthem" of Jana's new song "Do It Mr. D.J." was played by the Riddler in his mixshow last night on KTU! I just wanted to let everyone know that Sleep is now honoring club courtesy. There was alot of drama in the past regarding this issue and I hope it is now resolved. We have a big month planned for January including live acts and guest D.J.'s. Also, Saturday January 10th will be my record release party celebrating the release of my remix of Jana's new single due out in a few days on Xtreme Records. This Thursday at Sleep join new Thursday night resident D.J. Chris "In the Mix" Sammarco for ladies night. $1 well/wine or domestics for the ladies.

If I am a "C' D.J. then I am happy being so, as I have been one of the most succesful D.J.'s in N.J. over the last few years. I will be entering my eighth year in the business and have had long successful residencies at Abyss, Joey's, Poor Billy's, Velocity, and now Sleep, not to mention numerous guest spots at the Surf Club, Platinum, XL and a bunch of other places across the state. I've also had two commercially charted 12" singles that I wrote and produced this year on X-treme records with a third to follow next week. How many of your one guest spot wonder so called superstar D.J.'s (who play a crowd with blinders on) can match my accomplishments? Remember a D.J.'s job is to play for the crowd and not play what he likes.

I was told that I would get another chance to play at XL. I will find out in the coming weeks. My record release party celebrating my upcoming remix on Jana's new single is tentatively scheduled for the second Saturday in January at Sleep. The record is due out any day now. We certainly did have a good time at Abyss, Saturday's rocked when we were there!
