-
Jay Dee-"Plastic Dreams"
"James Brown is Dead" - early techno-although I never heard it in a club, it was played a lot right before I started my NYC club experiences.
Armand Van Helden-"The Witch Dokta!"
"House of God"

Come out to Sin Sin/Leopard Lounge tomorrow night, the 15th. I'll be spinning a two hour set from 10pm-12am. The venue's web-site is leopardloungenyc.com.

Could this thread die already? I hate getting e-mails about this topic still. I wish I never posted in this thread. Damn!

Carl Cox-????
Hes in his own category also.
T-1000 maybe?

I think this thread should be retitled brand name dj vs. generic dj. I think it's a clever thread though. It'll give us some insight to some of the influences these up and comers or copycats have.
Off the top of my head: Francois K vs. Neil Aline

its in woodbridge...the only thing in woodbridge is middle eastern people and their smell...what did you expect???
Take it easy racist. Do you want us to call the same attorneys who are planning to sue Michael Richards at the Laugh Factory?

It's not worth it to go out and get into a possible physical confrontation with the security unless you're out with a whole bunch of mean ass mofo's with you. That way, if security fucks with you, then you and your posse could kick some serious ass. All out brawl just like in the Wild West baby!

It probably got sold on ebAY.

I think the club formerly known as Joey's is hiring.

This Thanksgiving evening, I'll be spinning at 381 located on 381 Main St., Little Falls, NJ from 9PM-2AM. Please come by and chill after you've stuffed your faces with turkey and all the trimmings. The more House Heads, the better. Especially if the house people request it.

Louie DeVito rules man! He's better than Tiesto and all other DJ's. He's the best! F all Ya'll cause you don't know what you're talking about. I do. (getting smacked by someone beside me)
Wheew! That wasn't me talking. My computer was hijacked by a KTU guido fan.
Carry on!

as previously said: LOVE as a venue has so much potential! Perfect sound, not too big not too small, reasonable prices.
I LOVE LOVE!
If it were located in the 'trendy' meat packing district, the club would be packed every night.
I was there last friday for Demi & DJ KIWI's bday party, and it was far from being crowded.
I will go back there for Thanksgiving night.
I was there that night too. It was my first time there. The sound system is unreal but the music wasn't all that and there wasn't much of a crowd. That place definitely has a lot of potential!
