His first step into music came in late 2000 during his time in Beijing, doing warm-up sets at the now legendary Club Vogue, at which he came to hold his first ever residency, literally less than a week after having purchased his first decks and vinyls. Having spun upwards of a year, he took on the next natural step, producing his own tracks for the dancefloor. His breakthrough came in late 2002 when Armin van Buuren, and then later also Tiesto, started spinning his "Alias - Missouri".
