His time and experience there was unfortunately cut short when he was transplanted to the city of St. Louis where he first got his start as a DJ. John toiled hard as a mobile DJ in St. Louis catering to various crowds ranging from grade or high school students to wedding patrons. While playing these parties John always tried to work in his house music groove hoping to enlighten whatever few he could to the soul touching rhythm of house music. So the J&S Project fuses melodies and grooves. It was originated in Pompeii, near Naples, South of Italy, just under the volcano called ‘Vesuvio’, where the electronic music scene has always been full of talented producers. Angelo has a great experience of live performances with synthesizers and sound designing; instead, Tony has a long experience as underground deejay, and in 2002 they realized they had the same target in their life: to create music. Johan discovered the joy of underground electronic music in the very beginning of the 90's. It was at these parties, during the first years of his electronic music experience, that his feelings for trance music started to grow and soon evolved into a great passion.
