We spent a small fortune at Light on a table for 5 guys. First they wanted to shoe horn us all into a small table on the side of the dancefloor with only 3 seats. We then offered to spend more money for a better table. The doormen are always a problem although we have the right hook and only waited a few minutes. I agree with Bill Le it is all about tips and our guy takes care of the door guys some way some how. He is tight with all of them for a reason, $$$$$. Without him or someone else with pull 5 guys would be Fucked! 12 is even worse. I probably would not go back to Light and spend what we did but we all had a great time. Too much ........

9 Steakhouse in the Plams. Friends that complain about food any place you take them loved it. Well worth every $ spent there. Younger crowd and not many old peeps.

You mean "Consumer Reports" the magazine? I don't see how anybody can value what they print. The people that conduct their tests are college kids or recent graduates. The same people test toasters on Monday, Paint on Tuesday and then Cars. How can they be experts in every field and test everything? I would rather trust Road & Track, Motor Trend or C&D to get my info.

Auto Body is collision repair for cars. If you see a chick with hands that can repair a crashed car let me know so I can stay clear.

I appreciate your comments. You may be mistaken, a C-55 is a four door C class not the junk hatchback you may be thinking of. Although I am sure it is not as fun to drive as a M3 being an automatic. The C-55 AMG does have more horsepower on paper. I am not sure what car you drove? The C-55 is very hard to find on a dealers lot and and not able to test drive easilly. Ray Catena in Edison, NJ is one of the largest dealers in the country and does not have the car.
On the other side a new M3 that will most likely be an M4 and will not hit the streets until 2007. I am sure it will be a sick ride and will sell for full list price and have a waiting list of 6 months to a year. I waited 5 months for my M3 and the car had already been out on the streets for over 2 years when I ordered it.
The new Audi S-4 is beautiful and fast. I am a little against Audi due to the overall build quality. Audi and Volkswagen are the worst of all German cars when it comes to repairs. Not saying Audi is bad, just not a up to BMW or Benz. Although I would buy an Audi or VW over a Jap car any day.

No real sports car or even a sporty sedan can EVER be front wheel drive. Front wheel drive was designed for economy cars.

People get this wrong all of the time. Chrysler was bought by Dailmer Benz or Mercedes Benz that is why the company is now Dalimer Chrysler.
Chrysler could never have bought a company like Mercedes Benz. It is actually an insult to Mercedes to say "Mercedes is owned by Chrlysler."

Please explain how it has improved??? Getting better by the week?
Improvements if you want to call them that:
1) Parking was free, now it is $4 for self parking.
2) Coat Check was free, now it is $2.
3) Drinks now are almost all soda, they used to have Vodka if that is what you ordered. Two bartenders same issue.
4) The DJ bought a new copy of Salt-n-Peppa "Push It."
The other so called improvements I just don't see. How are the lights working in their boxes???????? LOL
There may be "700 people" there on Fridays at least that is what they claim to have counted at the door. What they do not count is the 500 that go out. This past Friday at 12 midnight there were less than 200 people total. Note, this is a place that is open until 3. When the Mendez was off about 1:00 and the "other music" began in the main room there were even less people left. The smaller hip hop room was closed when we got there at 11:00, after the 500 people left.

NOTHING warrants the prices you ask for drinks, cover, etc...nothing....not the music, nor cheap decor, nor ANYTHING!! You cant just open up a place and expect to charge out the ARSE for mediocre!! COME ONNNN!!!!!!

BIG changes were already made you will all have the info VERY soon!!!!
I was there the first Saturday the place was open and again this past Friday. I see no changes made. Actually the crowd was worse and the place had 1/4 the amount people.
First impressions are lasting impressions and they stick with people the most. If changes are made I am afraid that it may be too late. All I can say is that I did give the place a second try and that is more than most can say.
I am not bashing or trashing this place. One of my first posts was about Studio 9 with hope that things would change. I actually had high hopes of Studio 9 being a spin off to that big place that is now closed. Now I realize that Studio 9 will never compare to Hunka Bunka.
