    Damn pretty accurate...

  2. If you like house (I'll assume that you do, coming from Chi-town) check out the Lust crew and Kaskade at Amika on May 20. :D

I absolutely love house :) BBB is definitely one of my favs...Some stuff i like u guys prolly wont like, like old skool booty house...but anything with a good beat, so of course i can dance works for me :)

*definitely plan on checkin out Amika then :)

  3. Hey Guys!

My best friend and I are taking a mini hiatus from the windy city and coming down to miami May 16th-23rd..then to sarasota 23-30...Anyhow, to make it nice and quick, we love to dance alot, get our party on, and just enjoy the atmosphere of the clubs/lounges...I would really appreciate any and all suggestions for the week!! Thanks so very much...Also, if anyone has any other suggestions as far as good shopping locations/restaurants, i would be very thankful...~Sylv

~~If anyone needs suggestions or info about Chgo scene i can help with that... :)

  4. Yeah I saw Mills @ Vision , Laurent at Soundbar and I haven't seen Crobar yet .. they haven't had anyone impressive enough for me ;)

lol...yea i guess Mark isnt really someone i'd come out to see either...j/k

but Crobar does offer a cool vibe to it once you get past the ridiculous line...both the regular and vip lines are quite long...

a couple new lounges have opened up as well...so next time your here you should definitely consider them as well... :)

  5. yeah it was pretty sad .. the dj has not guestlist the collective had no agency so i said fuck it went to smartbar and a great time. :)

detroit is during MDW .. there's usually a few chicago peeeps that make the drive.

I'm suprised b/c Soundbar is usually pretty good with lists and Vip...oh well as long as you had a great time here :) Have you been to Vision at all? Or Crobar out here as well?

  6. I went to soundbar the night steve was playing but there were some door issues so i went to smart bar and had a great time listening to justin long.

jeff mills made up for anything anyone else couldve played that weekedn though.

ill hit you up next time i go up though ;D

are you going to detroit for FUSE-In?

Awww sorry to hear about the door issues, definitely hit me up next time...My good friend has clout there...

Never been to Detroit....When is it???

  7. I'm sure we can. I don't know if you all can handle us though. :)

I'll probably be up there another 2 or 3 times this year.

    4.21 - Speedy J @ Smartbar

    4.22 - Mistress Barbara @ Soundbar

    very tempting.

Ohhhh I was born ready ;-P I'm sure we will be able 2 handle just about anything you guys can dish out...

Soundbar is awesome, luv that place...Especially, when I heard BBB and Steve throw down, good times :)

  8. For hotels I recommend the Cavalier, Raleigh, Crowne Plaza and the National but it all depends on your budget. Don't stay at the Clevelander or the Beach Plaza they're nothing but overpriced shitholes.

Good stuff :) Thanks for the info this is exactly the sort of things i need to know...WE really dont care about it being luxious or anything cuz most of the time will be spent outside the hotel anyhow on the beach, partying, shopping, etc...we just want a moderate one that is convinent in location, close to the beach and nightlife...thanks!

  9. I recommend my house for hotel accomodations, and definitely

my B.E.D for a great bangin' time! :):bounce:

Alcohol is on your own honey. ;)

Awww what a sweet guy...so nice for the offer :) How you would put up with a blonde and a brunette at the same time i dunno  im a handful on my own, but along with my best friend whooaaaa double the fun,,,LMFAO :bootysha: lol

  10. Be sure to hit up Lincoln Rd, lots of good shops and restaurants. Nexxt is my favorite. Also, Cafeteria has a great party on Wednesdays. It is in the *back*. Segafredo's is a nice hangout, if you like lounging with models. Dulcianna has the BEST gelato. Grillfish is also a good place to eat if you like seafood. Then there's Ocean Dr which is fairly touristy. Be sure to hit up Mango's there, just for the show. And Espanola Way is a fun little street. Check out Tapas y Tintas for some evening munchies and Oh Mexico for dinner. Plus, if you are lucky, you will be here on a weekend when they are having their craft show. That should keep you busy for a week.

Thanx for the fabulously detailed recommendations, definitely what i was looking for :) Most definitely looking forward to making the most of this trip out to South Beach...

anything below 23rd Street is good for the conference, try to be below 15th Street, don't rent a car, u don't need it, and tan in the early morning and late afternoon, the sun is plenty strong then and you shouldn't burn. Hit Amika, it's a great club with a great staff and vibe. Don't miss Nikki Beach Club on Sunday Afternoon. If you are flying out on a Sunday, change your flight, Nikki Beach Sunday is not to be missed. Other advice, go at another time when WMC is not there so you can really enjoy yourself. WMC is not the only happening week in SoBe.

Bring lots of spending $, clubs are expensive and there is lots of good shopping on Collins in Sobe. Don't eat at Wolfies diner, but do eat at the 11th Street Diner-it's da bomb!

    11th Street Diner

1065 Washington Ave at 11th St, South Beach; 305 534 6373; open 24 hours daily.

    11th Street Diner

Open 24 hours a day: 11th Street Diner

All-American fare is served in this bustling diner dating from 1948. The red leatherette banquettes are a perfect place to grab some late-night nosh or fill up on a proper diner breakfast. The food is everything you would expect: eggs every way; Southern Fried Chicken; complete meals of soup, salad, main course and dessert for $15, cheesecake and pancakes.

Fabulous :) Thanks for all the detailed info it will definitely help me out in planning the trip...And yeah we plan on being in Sobe for a week...then heading out towards Sarasota to visit my cousins for a week or so also...Thanks again, much appreciated!

  12. Hey peeps...Just wanted some imput as to hotels in South Beach area, gonna be my first time there...Primary concern is that it has to be walking distance to beach and nitelife...Any info on hotels is appreciated!Thanks...
