Yeah Stony Brook is cool, but as for its nightlife, its kinda dead - i mean theres only so many time you can go to Sports Plus or regular bars... IF you want a L.I. school with a decent nightlife, go to Hofstra, there are 4 bar/clubs within walking distance of the dorms, and Tabu, Oz, Zacharys, and Chelsea Street a short drive down the road...
