  1. I will never go to Light again. We (bachelor party of 12 good looking/polite professional guys) had a VIP/Casino Host set up tables for us in advance last Thursday night. There was no line, we all stood there looking like fools for at least 30 minutes before the doormen would even look/acknowledge/talk to our "high rolling" leader who set it up. Then, they decide to charge us $40/each to just get in. The cover was only $30. So then they only let in 5 at a time over the next 30 minutes. Then 2 of us remained (told us each time they needed to find seats) then when us 2 could go in, we had to both pay another $30 cover. We get to the tables and we had a huge section (no chairs, just long couches all connected!) The place was half empty!!! The music was an awful hip-hop!!! (We had upstairs VIP tables at Body English that Saturday night and their hip-hop was much much more tolerable) We paid for the bottles and left after an hour or so......I've never witnessed the doormen at any club (Miami, LA, Tampa, Vegas, Atlanta, etc...) ever been so cocky, brazen and greedy in my life! I, nor any of us will ever go there again. All of us were gentlemen and no one showed disrespect the entire time. There was absolutely no legitimate excuse for their misconduct. Their treatment was absolutely unprofessional. I said my peace! I feel better now...
  2. Thank you very much. I'll keep an eye out for it (and me, of course...)
  3. Hey, I was at the ICE Stoli party Tues. Sept. 7. (couldn't get back to Tampa, due to hurricane ) They were filming a pilot for a tv show for Spike TV. Does any one know what the show is called and when it will air? P.S. Remind me not to sign tv releases when partying...... thanks for any help....
  4. Those are the passes handed out/sold by the cabs in Vegas. They should work on an off-night at the club. I heard they're useless for front of the line privileges on the busy nights. I also heard that sometimes the doormen ignore the passes after midnight. It's a gamble I wouldn't take if I were visiting Vegas and wanted to definitely go to certain clubs on certain nights on a holiday weekend, especially with my girl with me. Try Travelnice.com. They are honored at the top clubs. Here's an evil trick I figured out when I was out there on a normal weekend to avoid lines and possibly cover charges (I refuse to wait in line anywhere!!) : I went to GhostBar on a weeknight somewhat early. Got to know the doorman there. Got his name to get back into the club after we left for a little while. Asked where he's from, etc... Then went out to other clubs that weekend, asked the doorman in the normal line (which was very long) who was the guy at the VIP line and what was his/her name? I then went to the VIP line, told him I was friends from the home town of the GHOst Bar's doorman (give his name) and he said to ask for you because he had to work that night at the GhostBar, state that VIP doorman's name (which you just got from the other bouncer)....then ask if he could help you out...hook you up, etc....remarkably, he would every time and we always skipped the line and sometimes skipped the cover too....sometimes, I also slipped him a $20 and 4 of us guys got in.....a small token for the huge reward....time is worth $$ on vacation in Vegas... you can even use his name at the next club if you want...it's worth a try...it worked every time....since you don't live there it won't come back to haunt you......my buddies died watching me pull it off over and over again .....good luck....
  5. Sure....cabanas are $100 mon - thurs., fri. - sun. are $250. you get a fridge, big tv, clothes changing area, round table with chairs, as many lounge chairs with towels you can fit in front of the cabana, basket of cold fruit, 2 cold waterbottles, telephone with local access, awesome water misters, a cabana boy, waitress and cabana hostess to all serve you, and an awesome safe for your valuables!! To get a wristband, you must have a room booked at the Hardrock. One band per person per night. so if 2 people for 2 nights, then you get 4 bands. so, tape the band on and sell the others. they are good for the whole week basically. Or, invite girls you meet out to the pool and give them the bands when they arrive. If you have a cabana, you can invite about 8 people not having bands to the pool.....anyone at the pool already can hang out with you at your cabana with your permission, of course. We were with our girls, but we saw our neighbor cabana users pulling hotties in constantly!!!!...plus, having NFL QB Jeff Garcia at their cabana didn't hurt either......good luck!!!!
  6. The Rehab Sundays party is every Sunday for the summer. The long line was there early Sunday in the morning and was there till we left after 3pm.....we gave our extra wristbands away to friends. If you have the time, I bet you could sell them to people in the line. Oh, the talent was unreal. Lots of hot girls at the pool saturday (we had a Cabana...highly recommended if you can get one- call the beachclub exactly 12 minutes before 9am, one week before the date needed and let it ring forever and pray you land one of the 6 available to room guests), but Sunday was absolutely sick. The girls were phenomenal!!!!!! 10 times as many unreal girls. ....Lots of cheesey/steroid guys though...they do get rowdy and wrestle and yell alot.....hence, the cabana (#29 is the best available to us non-high rollers if you can get it) is a great idea....you can bring girls up there, away from the tools......order a bottle and food, etc....keep it till 8 pm till the DJ leaves.......we were treated first class by the staff...they were awesome..!!!!!!!! (hook up pool boy Alex for us!!!!!)
  7. very political....mostly slow, new, dull music.....some good old songs, but not many... i want a refund!!!!!!! ps the MGM garden arena was soooooo hot inside...the a.c. sucked!!!! many madonna fanatics (mostly gays) refused to sit down the entire concert, no matter what was going on ....very rude/selfish people when they want to be!!!!!!
  8. good time, but hotel pools can be closed. check it out first before booking (e.g. Hardrock)
  9. The Hardrock is great if you're single. The Bellagio is great if you're not.
  10. It actually is possible to get a cabana on a holiday weekend. It was pure luck, though......T-12 hours.....cya in vegas!!!!
  11. got the same advice......no sharing of the girlfriends, but they will definitely be chick magnets for you.......could you let me know if you get a cabana fri or saturday memorial day weekend....? thanks
  12. we were told must call 7 days in advance. only 6 available to the roomguests/public, the other 30 cabanas to high rollers....bigbalz you must be a high roller if you already booked for saturday memorial day weekend..??
  13. Does anyone have a pool cabana reserved at the Hardrock Memorial Day weekend? We would love to share one. Just 2 couples, the girls are extremely hot! Calling for the cabana in advance will be practically useless., although we will try. Or anyone have good advice? thanks.....des1832@yahoo.com
  14. try travelnice.com, the line passes are still available.....(i know rain definitely accepts them, not sure about ice, you may want to call them and ask) good luck!
  15. thanks, 3rdflfactoria.....which party will be better in your opinion....e.g. the music at Light vs. Rubber, the crowd.....etc...? we prefer house, techno...(i can't stand hip-hop, but my friends with me love it) (p.s. please enigma, no more enigmatic replies and opinions or inferred personal attacks....although, you're honesty is appreciated)...
