Ravers lined up under a highway overpass hours before doors opened to ensure that they would get in. What was Fever like? Imagine a warehouse with two rooms of cutting-edge dance music, one of the best soundsystems on the East Coast, a skating rink-style snack bar, and an outdoor courtyard where exhausted dancers rested while trains sped by, horns blasting. Throw in a colorful mix of friendly ravers who took their dancing seriously, and you have all the ingredients for a Fever party. An Event Like No Other. Fever ran at the Paradox from December 1992 to May 2001, one of the longest running biweeklies ever in the US.
