    Best US DJ!!!

In no particular order. House: (Too many to mention at once) Bad Boy Bill Eric Morillo Josh Wink Armand Van Helden Oscar G Trance: Tiesto George Acosta Sandra Collins Techno: Frankie Bones and the whole Sonic Groove posse. DJ Bam Bam Carl Cox
  5. I could have sworn Oscar G and Roland played a track that everyone seemed to like........progressive or tribal......... Milkshake? ;D That's not hip hop though.......
  6. Computer Tech @ Federal Court in Downtown MIA.
  7. When the CJ spin off was going on, I remember a lot of people were saying that diaga won fair and square due to his technical abilities. He would scratch, throw in acapella's and so on..... Every one praised him. The only difference is that he did it to progressive house. Don't let musical preference judge your comments....that is all I ask. :
  8. WOW... This is a pretty bold statement. I'm guessing you are aware of all of the DJ's out there. All their mixes, all their parties, all their residency's. But here is a DJ outside of SFLA. You know, the rest of the world. When was the last time you heard Markus beat juggle so that it is a new song yet sounds like if it is part of the song.....Or maybe scratch so that the baddest battle DJ's look twice in his direction. I know, in a CD anything can happen. But what about if it was live? No offense to Markus fans but to say Markus is better at mixing than BBB, you must be crazy. When has Markus made a CD with 54 tracks....in 60 minutes. The truth of the matter is that his style is different than those here. He uses a lot of vocals, a lot of techno, and a lot of disco and funky house. Many of us in MIA don't like that style and allow personal preference to block what is reality. Reality is that both DJ's are different and unique in their own way. In a battle comp... BBB by a mile! Next time you mix at a party or club or home, if you DJ, try juggling and scratching and see if it is easy.
  9. I'm new here...fill me in.
  10. Finally, I missed him last time he was here with Judge. Thanks and I hope to see everyone there. ;D
  11. I was listening to the radio sometime last week and heard that Bad Boy Bill was going to be at Space this Saturday. Is this true! ???
  12. [glow=red,2,300]RBS and Matt, welcome to cooljunkie message boards. Â What did you do in the military? Â What branch? Â Where were you stationed?[/glow]
  13. RBS stands for two meanings....I guess. 1. My initials Ruben S. 2. Rude Boy Style.....a loop from a song I heard in NY from Frankie Bones at a rave in '96. By the way... I've never really introduced myself. I as you know am Ruben. I am from the MIA. I was in the military and got a chance to party in the North East, Virginia, and Hawaii. My style of house is a little different than those worshiped here. Prog and Tribal is cool but too boring for me. I like to be at the climax fast and stay there all night long. Favorite DJ's....Bad Boy Bill, Frankie Bones, DJ Irene, Wink, Humpty Vission. Trance is OK for a couple of hours....but the DJ has to be good. If he is not, It becomes repetative. Anyways enough with the boring stuff.....Lets Party! ;D

    whats in your cd player

Bad Boy Bill - Behind the Decks " " - Bangin the Box VOL. 5 Dj Irene - Fearless Josh Wink - Profound Sounds Vol. 2
  15. Let us pray..... I picked up Behind the Decks last week and the CD drops. To me, much better than bangin the box 5. Comes with a DVD of 5.1 surround as well as behind the scenes. Only downside to his mix is lack of tricks like his previous series. Highly recommended. Let BBB spin!!!!!!!
