  2. LYME.fm & Organised Music Welcomes Miss HONEY DIJON to Winter Music Conference Honey Dijon is one of the most in demand DJs spinning on the international club scene today. Her growing reputation for amazing versatility, eclectic track selection and flawless skills is earning her bookings all over the world. Based in New York, Miss Honey’s recent gigs for such clients as Visionaire, Hermes, Chloe, the CFDA Awards, Loewe, Narcisco Rodriquez and other global tastemakers are making her one of the most sought after DJs for top fashion calendar events. Other headlining appearances include Berlin’s Love Parade, Respect is Burning in Paris and the annual Miami Winter Music Conference in Miami. Although she spins a distinct Chicago sound with inflections of the deep New York Underground, Miss Honey prides herself on a style that is all her own. In fact, Honey is one of the few DJs in recent years to defy pigeon-holing. She draws from a wide repertoire of musical styles – from old school Chicago house, disco, tech-house, tribal, funk, soul and r&b. As a gifted and experienced DJ, Honey knows how to manipulate any crowd. Whether she is easing them into a trancey vibe with the dark sounds of techno or lifting them up with pumping house, she knows how to rock a party. A native of the windy city, Honey was first inspired by the legendary house sounds of such DJ pioneers as Ron Hardy, Derrick Carter, Mark Farina and Frankie Knuckles. When she moved to New York in the mid-90’s, Honey became great friends with even more influential DJs including the amazing Danny Tenaglia, who finally urged her to get behind the decks. Seducing club goers with her unique sound all over the world, she is becoming a must-see DJ in many cities. “I like to keep the focus on the music”, Miss Honey says. “My style is a blend of all genres, but instead of looking to the past, it’s all about the future.” Honeys recent past appearances include OTV Club Zagreb, The Dome and Hoemann 17 in Israel, The Sub Club Glasgow, The Classic recordings parties with Derrick Carter and Luke Solomon at The End in London and regular spots at the Off Corso Rotterdam and with critical acclaim for her set on her Belgian debut at 4PLAY Culture Club Gent. The Future see’s Honey continuing to travel trans global, and her own club nights produced with Danny Tenaglia will be starting in June at NYC’s Arc Club. alongside her frantic Dj Schedule Honey still finds time to be the owner of “Peaches music records” along with Dan X of Dirty Sole and No Assembly Required. Look for Honey’s releases on Classic/Plastic Records from the UK, most recently the Skattered jazz by Dirty Sole Honey Dijon Skattered Brain mix on Derrick Carter & Luke Solomon’s Classic Records label: Upcoming projects see Honey re-mixing the “Freaks” with these releases scheduled for the summer: He's Angry, The Freaks, Honey Dijon's Angry Acid Bitch mix on Music for Freaks and Gay time Latin Lover Honey's Tasty BBQ mix again on Music for Freaks.

  4. LYME.fm Welcomes JUSTIN HARRIS (Freaks, Classic) & JASON HODGES to Winter Music Conference... JUSTIN HARRIS (UK) Justin has been DJing since 1987. He started producing records in 1994 and three years ago, teamed up with Luke Solomon to create the Freaks project. Twenty-eight EP's and over thirty remixes later, the Freaks are steadily gaining respect and rave reviews from the global house music scene. On their own 'Music For Freaks' label they have released ten EPs along with their first album 'The Beat Diaries; all of which received high critical acclaim and are continuing to sell worldwide. Harris and Solomon will also release a label compilation entitled 'Some Freaky Stuff' followed by their second album early next year. During his musical career Justin has also recorded with Luke Solomon under various guises such as Robotic Movement, Freesoul (with Diesel) and Oliloqui to name but a few. Their tracks were for such seminal house labels as Classic, Phono, 20/20 Vision, Large, Seasons and SSR. Justin has also recorded his own solo projects as himself or Philippe Maurice for Classic Sensory Productions, Monkey Fruit and Refried amongst others. Justin regularly DJ's at Space (Luke and Kenny Hawke's legendary Wednesday nighter at Bar Rhumba in London), various dates all over Europe including some exclusives nights in Paris (The Rex, Bateau Fas) and Oslo's Club Skanssen. Justin currently has residency at LYME.fm's GET PAID night at London's AKA bar. JASON HODGES (Canada) Canadian born Jason Hurtubise, first arrived in the house music scene in late 1991, taking on Toronto’s underground party scene he developed his DJing skills on the decks with the likes of New York - New Jersey sounds. Todd Terry, Kenny Dope + Lil Louie Vega (Maw) Zack Tomz, and Todd Edwards are a few of Hodges¹ favourite producers. Drawn to the sounds of drum machines, Hodges began renting gear from local music stores until finally deciding on a E-MU SP 1200, a piece commonly used by Hip Hop producers since it’s arrival in 1987. Hard-hitting beats with deep grooves became the signature sound for Hodges * whether in the studio, on the dance floors; from local Toronto gigs, to the surrounding towns around Ontario and across Canada, Hodges was growing and coming into his own. Jason began releasing records with various Toronto labels getting his feet wet remixing and co-producing tracks with some of Canada’s talents. After many years of training and development, Hodges returned to the scene with a new energy and a new plan. As a rising house DJ and producer, Hodges has teamed up with Big Chief DJ Sneak on co-production and remix work for several notable and established artists. Hodges & Sneak (AKA "The Jizznackaz") have collaborated on a number of Sneak’s projects and records for Magnetic Recordings, as well as Sneak’s new imprint label Oomph Recordings Jason is currently building his profile; remixing artists like Freaks on MMF, Kaskade on OM, Sneak’s "Fix my Sink" on Magnetic, Cozy Creatures Oomph, among many others in the horizon. 2003 opened the floodgates for world travel and new music projects, promising a steady and bright future for Canada’s best-kept secret. The name Jason Hodges represents the technical craft he pours into every production, with highly anticipated tracks being played and praised by the likes of Mark Farina, DJ Heather, Derrick Carter, DJ Raoul and Sneak, among other eminent House Music Pioneers around the world. Sneak on Hodges: "My very first trip to Toronto in 1994, I had the pleasure of meeting Toronto’s upcoming producers. I can remember perfectly a comment I made about Jason, I said, "He's the Kenny Dope of Toronto". He has productively advanced into a solid house music trooper".

  7. JUST ADDED TO OUR LINE-UP... NATHAN COLES (FABRIC Resident, WIGGLE) Resident at the prestigious superclub FABRIC in his hometown, London, Nathan enjoyed his musical journey at such seminal clubs as SPECTRUM at HEAVEN and the SUNRISE parties where the first generation of House Music entranced a whole generation. Nathan was there at the very beginning, ready to make his mark. Armed with a 10000 watt grin, and almost superhuman reserves of stamina, Nathan bumped and hustled his way into the hot, humid netherworld of the warehouse party scene, and in alliance with Mr C launched the legendary RELEASE parties. it was in 1994 however that he really cemented his lofty position in House Music's Hall of Fame when he and Terry Francis begun the infamous WIGGLE parties, and in the process, gave birth to musical movement now known as TECH-HOUSE. WIGGLE'S far-reaching reputation was officially recognized when it was nominated for "BEST UNDERGROUND CLUB' at the MUZIK MAGAZINE SAS awards. In this respect Nathan can justifiably be called a musical pioneer, having spent the last 15 years as a kind of roving ambassador of Tech-House, laying down rapturously-received sets of loose-limbed, funk-fuelled House in an array of venues all over the world, such as: Space, Pacha, Bora Bora, Underground (Ibiza), D Edge and Lov E (Sao Paulo), Mint(Buenos Aires),The Milwegg, Stalker, Now Wow, Impulse, The Caves & Ofcorso (Holland), The Zouk(Singapore) Aria(Montreal), Folis Pigalle, RedLight , The Rex & FatKat (France) The Roxy & Summer of Love(Czech Republic) The Bomb, Turnmills and of course Layo and Mr C's club The End(UK)... to name but a few. Nathan has also aquired a reputation as an excellent producer, having built up an essential portfolio of House and Breaks releases on labels such as Loaded, Visitor, Plank, 10 Kilo, Household, The End, Eukahouse and Funk'd (offshoot of Jamayka), picking up critical acclaims such as'Essential Release of The Month' for his and Nils Hess's"Get Fucked' albums. He has worked with the best, such as Mathew Bushwaka! Nils Hess, Asad Rizvi(Two Right Wrongans), Gareth Oxbey and Terry Francis. And remixes for Hardfloor, Kurtis Blow, DJ Pierre and most recently the acclaimed Will Saul track 'I got rhythm' reaching no. 3 in DJ Magazine's Breakbeat charts and appearing on his new album “Give me a Break”, on 10 Kilo.Having recently built a studio at his home in London, and on his 4th release with his new label “Is This”, Nathan thankfully shows no signs of slowing down. Like a fine wine he surely gets better with age, where his ability to read a crowd, taste in music and flawless mixing abilities never cease to amaze and astound. 9. Just added to the line up... MastikSoul MastikSoul started his career in 92, in a time where his life was split between Portugal and France, and from where he watched the raise of a new musical culture, that in association with his strong African roots designed his talent in a unique form. Biography Being connected to techno music for a while, where he released his first twelve-inch and developed his dj and producer skills, came in the late 90´s with the desire of embracing other styles.
