  1. Thanks for the tip. Do I need to worry about guest lists/door policy?
  2. Hey guys, I will be in Boston for a night on the 15th. Is there a good house dj spinning anywhere that night?
  3. he just sounds desperate to me. i think people would be stupid to even take this shallow statement seriously.
  4. i have actually heard them play the same tracks quite a few times. so i dont think comparability is an issue. now if i had compared digweed to lets say... system of a down...then id understand your incomprehension. but to say that digweed can not be compared to anybody - well that just means you are a digweedhead. but nothing wrong with that.
  5. i was actually thinking of getting a bootleg version from my malaysian contact.
  6. Chemical Brothers' Block Rockin Beats (97 I think). Its not house but its what got me into Electronic music.
  7. better solution: dont even go to webster hall. plenty of better clubs around.
  8. it will probably be a while! im just starting out. have to buy, learn, experiment first. but ill definitely post on CP. thanks a bunch.
  9. nice. i joined your mailing list. hopefully that will keep me posted.
  10. oh damn.. i just realized you are going to both. all power to you!
  11. I have seen them both many times. IMHO Digweed, at his best, is better than Sander but Digweed also has off nights when he experiments too much. Sander, on the other hand, has never disappointed me. But Sander comes to NYC more often than Digweed and the sound system at Spirit is better although I usually like the vibe at Crobar more. Hmm... I guess Im not really helping you am I? Well... if I had to choose I would just go with Digweed - he may not come to NYC for a while and if you are lucky, he may just put on one heck of a show.
  12. If you like progressive house, you will love him. Better yet, just go out and get one of his CDs. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/search-handle-form/102-8576687-2564927 you can also get them at the virgin megastores or tower records. The guy has been coming up with great compilations for years and he is GREAT live. I have seen him about a dozen times. The last time he played at crobar, the vibe was amazing and the crowd ROCKED. He truly has something for everybody.
