  1. Definately. Wasn't expecting too much and it turned out I had a fucking blast. Especially after 5am when it started to clear out and there was plently of room. Aside from that fight between some asians, it was a great vibe.
  2. I'm not too into psy, but Younger Brother was pretty fucking sick on friday at Spirit. It was much better than I thought it was going to be.
  3. not really into psy. Thanks for the tips tho. I'll see if he can push back the flight. Who books flights before knowing if there are parties anyways!?
  4. Has anyone heard about any trance DJs coming through 1/20 and 1/21? My friend is coming into town and he wants to see what the NYC scene is like. thanks
  5. You could also try to get it tossed if there are any errors. For example the wrong street, misspelled name, something like that. That's your easiest way out of it.
  6. Not too serious. Can't say without seeing the summons, but it's probably just a minor violation. Go and pay if you don't want to challenge it. It will stay on your record, but it's not even a misdemeanor. There's your no-charge expert legal advice (far too hungover to actually charge anyone in good conscious).
  7. Lisbon can get boring if there too long. I went for a weekend. Braga is nice. Watch out for the drunk sailors in the bars down by the docks. If you are driving, the hills in Lisbon are a bitch with the stick-shifting. The food is excellent. If you are there for a while, drive over to Madrid, now that's a party town. Oh, and watch out for this guy in the Lisbon town square: http://www.arl.wustl.edu/projects/fpx/conf/FPL_2003/Photos/Lisbon_City/Bad_Face.JPG gave me fucking nightmares for months
  8. Was that the party one of the first couple days in September? If so, I was at that one too, it was fucking great. Unfortunately, I dont think I'm getting back this summer.
  9. Thse are some really good and high quality mixes. I've had store bought CDs sound worse. So get these mixes and I guess the only last thing to say is when and where are you spinning live?
  10. NYU isnt raising CB's rent, it's the Bowery Residents' Committee, which is a homeless advocacy group that houses people over the club. They had some accounting problems and CBs ended up owing a lot of back rent. They've been paying it off, but the BRC wants to double CB's rent come august. That might force Hilly out.
