  1. SKOOF 's version barks up a similar style. Tribal, with only the chorus, no verse. Its really old though. REALLY. Try downloading, 12" might be a lost cause. JP's wasnt that good either though. Id say pick better music.
  2. DEEP SUCKS. GREAT SPACE. WORST CROWD OF NYC. Its the "hipster/euro trash" version of webster hall.
  3. I saw him at webster hall 2 years ago. HE WAS TERRIBLE. T E R R I B L E. Tried playing a big room trance set like pvd, armin etc. But ended up just mixing from one garbage track to another. No flow. Also, at one point, he turned down the master volume, thinking it was the booth. Still a fun night with some good tunes. But ive heard sets like this off wanna b djs @ crappy bar parties.
  4. ^ 100% WRONG but i can see how it can simply be summed up like that. For example: Drum and bass and house are 2 totally different genres with NO history cross over. Eric Clapton and Metallica both use guitars. They are NOT the same music. But actually, old school/soulful house tracks tend to have more live instruments. Congas, Brass instruments, guitars, etc. So the production values jump up a notch.
  5. EDIT. As dorky as theses douchebags are. I just dont have the heart to embarass a whole new crew of morons, from merely finding their pic online. lol
  6. Every DJ review, has a handful of people saying the dj was "under par". wtf...just go out and have fun. Your not performing, your not there playing for hours at a time. Obviously a djs set isnt pre planned(real djs), so some nights are better than others in track selection or flow. But is it really worth mentioning EVERYTIME. The reality is. Morilo ..sanchez..jp...tiesto and any other big djs are no better than a large handful of locals and other small timers all around the world who have talent but no exposure. These career djs just stepped their game up and were the first generation to be rockstars from djing. The critical ears do nothing. Its just a fact.. some nights are better than others. Just go out..and party with your freinds. The dj isnt the main focus. He is a factor. But not the purpose.
  7. !AHCAP !AHCAP !AHCAP !AHCAP !AHCAP !AHCAP !AHCAP !AHCAP I for one am boycotting this place. Too much hype. Makes me nautious. Especially since its only a matter of time before it becomes THIS AGAIN.....a fate far worse than the ghosts at the Overlook Hotel.
  8. what kinda music does he play. Who is he etc etc.
  9. Bought a few of these, and the rest were free'bs from my amigo. Supposed to be somewhat recent (released within the past month) I got more but these are just some off the top of my head. Vintage - Wake Up America [sondos] Mojo Project - Could You (D Penn Remix) Oscar G - Darkbeat (DJ SKOOF 2005 MIX) SIDE B: SKOOF - The Drum Experiment [White Label?] ATB - Let You Go Rmxs [Kontor]
  10. OMG!.i missed the part on the flyer that says "DJ SCRIBBLES TEACHES BRIT TO SPIN" ok...the world has now ended.
  11. excuse me while i....<insert puking sound here> hott...very but that is the extent of this girls purpose of existence.
