i really havent been out in a while cause of school. but i am plannin to hit up casbah this saturday. worship went down the drain. my gf is workin all night so it is my night out. and i want to check out casbahs new renovations. heard it is SICKKKK.

I just went onto the Worship website, they are advertising some lady DJ playing 80's and 90's mash-ups and hip-hop. Also free till 12, may stop in for a few drinks before Casbah. What time is a good time to go before the lines get too long?

a friend told me that u can watch all the games at 40/40. but i have not been there yet myself.

I def want to check that place out, but I also heard through the grapevine, that you have to be dressed up, no jeans sneakers etc, if that is the case, then forget it, no way I'm going to in the middle of the afternoon wear slacks and a nice shirt for watching the games on Saturday afternoon.

need some good sports bars for Saturday afternoon for watching the games. Would I be better off in one of the casino bars, or can anyone think of something not inside a casino.

Can't say that I do. The only reason I recall those days, is cause I dated this girl from the Toms River area for a while, and she loved to party at the Bermuda Club most weekends. I even spent one NYE at the Bermuda Club!!!

I will be in the house this Saturday night, looking forward to it. I'm staying at the showboat, so a hop skip and a jump when I go over to the Casbah. If you don't mind, what are some of the best bars for watching the football games? I was thinking 40/40 Club, but not even sure if they are open during the day, plus I keep hearing you have to dress up, don't need to dress up to go to a sports bar. Thanks! One more thing, what time is a good time to go over to the Casbah Saturday nite?

Casbah is gonna be off the rocker!
They just opened the Main Room back up with all new VIP Booths, very nice!
They made some other cosmetic changes, looks very cool!
PLUS the Zanadu Room will be open w/ DJs Robbie Tronco & Tony Rone
I beleive Moe Green & Myself will be in the Main Room & We are gonna be droppin the HOUSE!
Whats going on? The main room is now open?????????? This Sat the 17th I get to see the new main room???????????? If I'm reading this correctly both rooms will be open this Saturday night?

I'm spending the night in AC on DEC 17th, I have never been to studio 6 and Club Tru, and hear it is the best place in town for afterhours and house music as well. Do you offer any comps, probably just going to be myself, maybe one other person. Thanks!

I heard Sat's are pretty good. Is it as crowded as Friday's?
This Friday was cool, but there was one guy there who would not go away. Very annoying. Why is it, some men just dont get when a girl does not want to talk to them?

Actually New Owners....Rob Allen is now the Sat night resident in TRU, and he's guite good, ....and Jason E & Milleniumn are still doing Studio....Sat nights
Is Tru and Studio two seperate clubs, or can go back and forth between the 2

Satisfaction is still kicking huh, pretty cool. So by the time you come on and take over for Moe Green they still require you to play Hip-Hop huh, byt that time of the night, house/tech should rule the night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Make it happen man!! Looking foward to DEC 17th. There is has to be a place in AC where the Hip-Hop heads can go right? They knowingly bring on a DJ that spinds house and expects that person to spin Hi-Hop seems weird. I mean DENNY Tsettos, I don't think would ever spin Hip-HOP. Anyhow, I know you told me the whole deal already from your previous posts.

It's been like that there for a while now...I just started there inside the main room a few weeks ago.....It's been a challenge to try and play the kind of House I like to play...
I understand that I have to play everything over there, House, Hip Hop, Rock Mash ups, I knew that going in...That's what they want me to do. And I have the range to do that over there and rock the place.
All I'm tying to do is play a nice mix of everything over there...like you would expect from a World Class Nightclub like Casbah...
Everything should be represented...Especially House Music!
And it has to be in sets (like 45mins, maybe an hour)
I know the DJ over at Mixx and he kinda follows the same format.
But I want to be able to play House music and not have my balls broken because not as many people are dancing to it, or be told that people are leaving because you are playing House music.
See what I have to deal with! lol
I'm gonna keep pushing forward, maybe adjust my times a little...

I catch your drift, What can you do, managemnt wants you to mix it up, then I guess that is what you have to do. I will def stop by when i am in AC on the 17th, i will send you an email to have you put myself on the guest list. Is the DJ booth somewhere where you can stop by and say hello? I wish the Hip-Hop craze would die down, and not to say it totally sucks, I love old-skool stuff, even the mash-ups are pretty cool also.

that will be mandatory after the ABC meeting with the owners and the town...you can put $$ on that...the abc doesnt like 18 to party places in NJ..
But yet, you will find 18 and over places at other clubs in NJ and NY etc.

I'm not gonna lie to you...House does not rule the place
I'm lucky if I can stretch a 45 min set out lately...
You can usuall hear the best House sets around 130 - 230
and agian around 315 - 4 and my favorite 5 - 545
If the crowd is lite and not feelin it... they may be a little shorter
When the place is packed, especially in the summer (AND DEF. FOR NYE) we can play hour sets...
Sorry to the House Heads....I wish I could play House all night, but I gotta keep the crowd there till 6am and it's a tough line to walk sometimes...
Thank God for my frequent guest spots at Club TRU and my Tuesday Night party in Philly....all house, all night long
Thanks for being honest with me, So Hop-Hop is still the craze huh, what happened to House music all night long. I use to be able to go to a club, and listen to non-stop dance, house progressive etc without worrying about hearing one hip-hop song. I know times have changed, but this is really crazy.

Went to Zanadu room this past weekend and the music flat out sucked. They played hip hop all night long, with 2 house songs thrown in. I dont mind hip hop but not when thats the only music u hear all night.
That does suck, did you land up going anywhere else? I wander how the Missle Bar is, I saw they play house and dance all night I think. But I also heard it is a very small place.

They should just go back to being 21 and over. I'm sure they will still do well.

I got caught up in all the mishap last night.
I don't know too many bars in New Brunswick that offer 18 and over, I am pretty sure when Platinum first opened, it was 21 and over only. But, I know many clubs have 18 and over or at least 18 for women.

Thanks man! Haven't been in AC on a Saturday night in a longggggggggggggg time. Looking forward to drinking all day and drinking all night and looking for Bitches!!!! Maybe I won't even pregame at Worship, I will pregame somewhere else.
