I'm def goin to ferry on friday....last nite was a zoo at pacha the line was a whole block at 1030 multiply by 2 million for all the knuckleheads that are gonna go for morillo on friday and keep in mind that there are no more tables and no room to dance for friday

line was ultra long the wind was ultra strong wasnt feeling the crowd didnt have a good vibe too it....people seemed like they were there because they thought they were celebs rather than to have a good time with the music anyone know what time pete tong finally started spinning I left around 2 because I just wasnt feeling it?

I understand that NYC has its roots more attached to house/tribal/progressive but I enjoy good trance music. I know when trance djs play live they don't have extensive mixing or technical procedures as calderone, DT, or any other house dj you want to throw out there. But in the same effect I like not hearing the same song for 30 minutes. I think the song turnover with armin, gabriel and dresden, markus schulz, etc. makes for better sets because you dont get stuck with a beat or song that u dont like for that long of a time period. At all five trance sets that I have attended since armin at spirit in june I have heard non-stop hit after hit the whole nite. True one may argue that its like listening to a greatest hits cd on a unbelievable sound system, but I like that I can hear 30 different tracks in one nite, rather than run the risk of hearing a tribal beat that I dont particularly like for 20 minutes.....do what u want with this post....but keep the comments at a high level of discussion

- Unbelievable nite.....G+D were spinning when I walked in at twelve and were playing "Till there Was You". Killed it for the next three hours with plenty of hits from the armada label. Highlight of their set was the arcadia vs. close to you remix. Really cool track. Then Markus came on around 3am and blew the roof off the place with mode hookers - breathe. Left around 4:45am. Crowd was kinda crappy. Too many high school seniors. Anyone of link or full tracklist?

im goin to spirit to see g+d and schulz....they are gonna be sick...zocalo, arcadia, tracking treasure down, without you near.....and many other sick songs from the armada label arguably the best label in all of dance music will be played the whole nite...I just wish it was at a better venue like crobar.....see ya there

finally the last two times tiesto has been in new york he has sucked. I think it takes a couple of times to figure out what New York music is all about and tiesto was on point last nite. People come to see tiesto for his hits, as much as he may be bored of playing them. Can't wait for gabriel and dresden and schulz next wknd at spirit.....6 hours of the best trance minimum

wow i am really upset i didnt go....i saw him two summers ago at avalon and he was really good but didnt play too long....I guess he got the memo that people have been complaining about the lenght of his sets.....welcome back oakenfold

my money is on pete tong or fergie to spin on NYE.
