Teknojunkee
In my opinion, when a club has the same DJ week after week (depending on his style) it takes away from the club. I wanna be able to go to a place where i can hear alittle hard house, some deep tribal, some hip hop, and then the next week hear some trance with some house etc...you get my point. Afterhours...well...when you have places like Vinyl and DT, they have a certain following. Its about the music, not about the drinks, not about the scene, its the music. Put DT in my back-yard and he will pull 1000 people. That is just an obstacle that puts alittle damper on things. Look at SF. I personally dont like the place at all, but if you walk in the door at 5am on sunday morning its full inside and will have alot of people until afternoon hours. Its a following. JP pulls that crowd. Roxy needs to find its Niche...as well as exit. Honestly...i will love Exit forever but saturdays are just starting become routine. Same crowd, same music, same songs, how much Junior can you hear. Gotta start throwing in something people dont expect once a month and watch that night go BOOM! PS. The day that i hear Mauro Picotto in NYC is the day i die a happy man.
