neena1979 Posted May 16 Report Share Posted May 16 ...New Orleans. I went for a few days...got some really cheap airfare and needed a break from things. I liked it....some people told me it was kind of dirty and the only time it's worth going down there is during Mardi Gras. I've never been there during Mardi Gras but when I went down Bourbon Street I kind of imagined how crazy it probably is with all the balconies going out into the streets and the beads hanging from them, there's like 6 bars on each block (for all age groups) and people tap dancing for money. Oh and the 151 Hurricane. If people have gone there you know what I'm talking about I would go back....just thought I would share my experience with everyone. We'll see you Memorial Day weekend on Sunday. We have a wedding to go to on that Saturday. DJ Dan- Hopefully neena didn't lose all our money at the casino when she was in n.o. if she didn't, we should be at SF this Sunday morning. Besides it's not the crazy amount of hours you party that would hurt me...it's that drive. How do you do it? well I know one thing for sure you need something to prevent that shut eye while your driving. Are you going this Sat to the Factoria? We're not sure....but we're leaning more towards NO (which is against our will) but we have things to take care of this weekend and you know what a theme night at SF does to one's bank account. Besides we want to save our pennies for Memorial Day. P.S. i definitely want to see those pics sometime. I could imagine how crazy it is...
