as for hotels there are tons of them in all price ranges

i'd say comfortable at a good rate would be either Sheraton or the Holiday Inn downtown montreal..

as for dining there are restaurants on every street corner and sometimes there are 6 or 7 on every street block. I totally depends on what kind of food you're into. as for me I lobe soho, mikado and tsircos.

uhmm as for clubs we have sona, aria, stereo, tokyo those are all concidered good clubs. Depending when you're in town you might want to check up the lineups and dj's spinning..

Hey man,

in terms of hotels I dont know but I sure can point out clubs and restaurants.

3 After-Hours in town

Sona: best for tec. A litle of that undergroud feel. This is the scene. You get the real clubbers, chicks are hot, music is amazing... Gotta go before you leave.

Stereo: Housier. Gets a mixed crowd but is primarilly gay. Best sond system in North America.

Aria. Pretty much same music as Sona (heavy tec fridays and smoother funkyer tec-house saturdays + HipHop in 2nd room both nights) but less successfull in terms of getting a quality crowd. It's good clen fun... to clean for my taste maybe.

Bars:

Illume also called Room 1635... Tokyo... Jinxy... Dorcia... Central Station...

Try "Bily Kun" on Mont-Royal street to start one of your nights. Pretty unique spot. Trendy, minimalist... it works. Montreal's best with a touch of central Europe. Did I mention the ostriches heads on the walls???

Restaurants:

St-Laurent street between Sherbrooke and Pines is where you wanna be. Little more expensive but with the fuckin' Xchange rate... what do you care right?

Globe and Primadonna are institutions. Baïla (newly opened) good food very nice decor... Sofia (food is OK but you really go for the staff... and believe me when I say you get your money's worth...).

Anyway man, if you have specifics, let me know. I'll be glad to help. After all, w-e in Montreal is a terrible thing to waste right???

later man
